In addition, sound cues from the original play well in this and the melodies. Nice to know that producers are still remixing these great classic tracks. Not sure why there are dislikes, but keep it up man your work is well done. :)
sorry for the late reply, but i'm happy to read such lenghty (and favroable) comments from time to time :) classic UT is one of my all-time fav, knowing how to export stems from the .umx files was almost a waste if i didn't make anything with those stems

there's a nuke launcher hidden somewhere, grab the nuke & hide - you fire it and get into its perspective and control - the projectile was slow enough to make it really funny to play with
@@depthtone you mean the Redeemer but i never used it. i was always a sniper rifle girl, hiding up at the tower in Facing Worlds and getting countless headshots when they came for my flag lmfao.
Count me as sub 501 :3 these remixes pump me up so much. This and razor back were my 2 favorite UT tracks. Used to spawn camp facing worlds like a boss with the SR on the roof. Hahaha
bloody amazing with hints of nostalgia, though i think some of the announcer clips and stuff are from quake as opposed to unreal tournament but my memory ain't always the best, still, this shit rocks, good job man
the voice clips are indeed from Q3, I couldn't find the UT ones at the time so I went for the closest thing possible (and I refuse to use the orgasmic female announcer from later installments lol)

These two were definitely rival games back then and there was always a beef between UT and Q players, which game was better. When I heard this track at the first time I was a bit weird to hear "Prepare to fight!" line, but immediately it gave the track the shot of amphetamine rush! Very, very cleverly placed! Mad propz! I was always an UT guy but since my friends liked Quake better, in the garage LAN parties we mostly played Quake. Ahh, the memories.
While most video game ost remixes are just "that", a remix of a greater work that just translates some parts of the original into another genre, your remixes are great standalone tracks while still keeping the core theme of the original intact all the time. And the people i showed those to loved them without even knowing the games
