    Thanks for the video! I've been thinking about using them to put some old demo cassettes on vinyl, which is already not great quality, so wouldn't mind some crackles. I also know a little bit about vinyl mastering, so we'll see how it's gonna turn out.

    A couple things, I had no idea a service this cheap existed.
    1. The run time is dictated by the volume the record is cut at (louder music takes more space) and whether a computer is being used to control the rate of advance. With a computer pre-sampling the waveform, it can decide how close the grooves can be placed on a continuous basis.
    2. Is this a one-off lathe cut record (not made in a press)? Then how did it get warped unless it just got hot in shipping?

    It sounded like there was a lot of wow and flutter in the playback, like everything was going through a tremolo pedal, at a frequency much higher than you’d expect from the warping of the record. Was that sound in the original music, or is that something that your record player normally causes?

    Question?? I’m fairly new to vinyl collecting and just ordered The River by Bruce Springsteen, it comes with two specially made inner sleeves with pictures on them, made with thicker paper (if you look it up on google you should see what I’m talking about), anyway it also comes with the standard thin paper sleeves as well. How should I store this? Should I put the record in the thin sleeves and then that inside the thick sleeves or just throw away the thin paper sleeves and just put the record in the thick custom sleeves?

    • @MasterSplinter69
      @MasterSplinter69 11 месяцев назад

      I have utopia by Travis Scott on vinyl, and they come with the same picture sleeves you got, and I just store them in there, in my opinion it’s the best way to go with unless the paper sleeves come with plastic inside of them

    Was gonna place an order through them but I couldn't find any info on on the spine. I didn't see an option to get the artist or release name on the spine so I'm assuming it's just a solid color and it's blank? Small annoyance of mine is when records have nothing written there. Is that true?

    does Kunaki have gaps between songs or does it just go to the next songs no cuts

    • @ZandrerEilros
      @ZandrerEilros 2 месяца назад

      gaps are made the way you want. If you place silence between tracks. Then yes gaps will be there. Kunaki does not mess with anything. How ever you produced it. Is the way it will come out. But, with lathe cut vinyl this is not the case. Not with them anyways. Other services that are more expensive. Usually will try to adjust your audio files before cutting it into the lathe cut so the needle wont jump or skip. during play back. But with kunaki cd's no worries. Everything comes out exactly as you produced it.

    I don't care if vinyl records outsell CDs. If people have got the money to throw away, that's their business. I'll always buy CDs and casettes. I've learned not to get fooled with my money. Remember 8-track tapes? Now that was a really big ripoff.

      Actually CD's are picking up on sales lately. Yep, vinyl is cool. But good God man! The prices. CD's always sound great. You don't have to buy an expensive device to make them sound better. I watched some dude on here buy a $1,200 turntable just so he could get better sound quality from his records. Like f*ck that! Now I see why folks are slowing going back to CD's.
