Cheers for this vid, you've helped me make up my mind, I would prefer an early katyusha, but, I don't really like the warlord gaz, mad bobs Zis 6 is awesome, way better than the warlord one, but still it's resin. This means I have transport, a katyusha and I can slap the missile rack on my bronekater, also plenty of decals for other projects. Thanks again.
It's a shame that Rubicon decided to make the Studebaker version, I feel the ZiS/GAZ trucks are far more iconic as Soviet trucks used for the Katyusha.
I like this kit! and although historically accurate like this, i would have prefered to see the rocket launcher mounted on a soviet truck; Zil, Zis, or Gaz AA. Still a very nice kit. Im sure that this is better than the metal/resin kits that are on the market.. it would be a pain to straighten all the metal or resin rocket launcher rails..
Great build and review as always, and I concur about a GAZ base being better than the Studbaker provided. I really wish Rubicon would make a GAZ truck (or lorry, as Brits like me say it) so that we could fit the launcher from this kit onto the more accurate base lorry.
The Rubicon Katyusha truck looks great. A lovely model with a couple of choices for the finished build. Nice video mate. Take care and have fun,
Joe
My favourite part was when you put the pole in the rack...
Nice kit, will add to my to buy list!
Cheeky!

I agree. a GaZ would've looked better. Strange that Rubicon chose to mount this on a less common Studebaker.
Nice work)

That Mad Bob Zis6 does look really good. It's actually tempting to get one.
"wheely good"...best joke ever
I'm considering a new career in comedy!
Looks great. Luckily the kit didn't had the dreaded rubber band tracks.

Burn it into people's minds that the Soviets only won because of the huge quantities of land-lease from the US.

MLRs are okay for flames of war , but Boltaction is a small action game and MLRs don't seem appropriate
needs more jeep and less truck
It's not a Studebaker when the katusha is on the back.
So you're saying the rocket launcher changes the manufacturer of the truck? I had no idea!
@@HerbertErpaderp no. I mean the Soviets hardly use these in comparison to the gaz
+wicked gaming So... You're suggesting it stops being a Studebaker because the GAZ trucks were more commonly used? Doesn't make a lot of sense...
I am saying that if you have more than a couple in an army it would be unrealistic
