You should feel guilty to support one side of the conflict and not spread peace, without knowing the history of Israel. Until the beginning of the 20th century, there was no such thing as Palestinian people. Thousands of muslim jewish and christian pilgrims visited the land of Israel in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, not a single one of them documented meeting people identifying as Palestinian.
The land between the river and the sea has been called Palestine or Falasteen by various individuals and historians for over a millennia. I will not accept this erasure and continuation of an ethnic cleansing campaign against my people because of one sided colonial rhetoric. We are the people who stayed and remained, we are the people who never left. I salute Kia, Deep Creep and The Lot Radio for giving Palestinians and those aligned with them a platform in the scene that much requires so.
The land of israel has been a pilgrimage destination for millions of people for over 3000 years. First for the jews, then Christians, thousands of them pilgrims documented their pilgrimage travels, none of them encountered "palestinians". They saw jews, arabs, arminians but the term "palestinians" did not exist until 1947. Even when the arabs revolted against the british in the 1930's, they themselves called it "The Arab Revolt", and not a "Palestinian revolt". The name "Palestina" is not an arab name. It was given to this REGION after the jews rebelled against the romans in 132 AD. The romans got so mad at the jews, that they attempted to erase the connection between the jews and their land. So they changed the name of "Jerusalem" to "Aelia Capitolina" and the name of "Judea" to "Palestina". So if you are anti-empirialism and anti-colonialism, you should really be pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian, since they got the name from the colonial roman empire and the borders from the british empire in 1947. The only "true Palestinians" are those muslims, christians and jews which were borned under the british mandate, which were given a Palestinian birth certificate. If you were born after the british mandate you were either Israeli, Jordanian or Egyptian. They have the right to call themselves "Palestinians", but it doesn't give them the right to rewrite history and try to annihilate Israel people.
