T.J. Buffet is still hanging on and still great! Love their food. Watch out for the giant potholes, not only around the mall but the whole Pgh Mills area.
This always makes me so sad to see. The world was one way, then all of a sudden it wasnt. To see the birth and rise of the American mall. Many fond memories with family at the mall. Now I have to witness the death of the malls. Kind of sad that everything has to end nothing gold can stay.
Not enough people live in that area, Ross Park mall was built around the same time and it’s thriving. Gucci, LV, Burberry all have stores there, Nordstrom is one of the 4 anchor that are currently filled. Only big hits that mall has taken was when sears closed and was vacant for a couple years plus during pandemic but the mall is now very lively again and it feels nicer, more crowded than when I was a kid. There have been instances of crime like a gang fight/shooting and shoplifting or theft but they’ve added more police and security to make sure it’s safe.
I live in southeast pa between west Chester pa and Lancaster pa and the 3 best malls in the area are king of Prussia mall and christianna mall in Delaware there's a mall in exton pa called the exton mall but because it's so close to king of Prussia the exton mall really died off over the years but if you go to park city mall in Lancaster pa that mall dose very good still
@@keithatkins9783 I currently have family in west Chester and used to go to my uncles in Lancaster for every thanksgiving till he moved back to Pittsburgh so I’m very familiar with the king of Prussia mall, grew up Black Friday shopping there and I would agree they have a larger and high end selection than Ross Park. Probably because that mall caters to Philly which is a much larger area therefore more rich people. A mall like king of Prussia would be nice to have here but it would never survive as we don’t have the market for it, You’re lucky😁
@@panda4757 the big hit for that mall was not building the new food court in the former sears, THEY ONLY DIDNT BUILD IT BECAUSE THEY HAD TO BUILD A PATHWAY ALONG THE ROAD TO THE MALL TO MCKNIGHT, BUT OFC THEY DIDNT WANT TO
Very sad. Thanks for sharing!

This mall was built for 226 million and valued at 11 million a few years back. Then it sold at auction for $100. What a disaster. 😂
you need to take out a loan to eat at Panera bread
They're moving out anyway. Headed over to one of the adjacent properties
It's so sad to see a nice big mall like that dead already and it's only 20 years old

Shopping malls are doing well in some places and not in other places. Dead mall is a big problem in America.

I'd totally visit that comic book shop.
With Century III Mall currently being demolished, Pittsburgh Mills now has the distinction of being Pittsburgh’s premier dead mall.
This Mall has been on a decline since it opened .
