Getting ready to do this to modify long sleeves on a t-shirt top to be 3/4 length. I can always count on you to provide simple and clear instructions! Here we go...
I love scalloped edges especially as the edge of ruffles on the hems of 1850s dresses and petticoats that have a pretty edge to them that might possibly peek out.
This was an excellent tutorial. I used it to shorten an ankle length corduroy dress that I thrifted to a long top with a 6 inch scalloped hem. Thank you!
Thank you for this video!! I had posted on your FB page asking how to finish the edges of a scalloped yolk for a shirt. This actually answers my question.
im missing the total look, if we did this to a T-shirt how these it look like new? i can guess we can use the same method for other, still the total look is missing
how would you do this for shorts? im making a pair of scalloped shorts for my daughter. do i do the scallops before sewing the short's pieces together, or after?
I don't think it'll look as well as lace tends to be see through and you're going to get multiple layers seen at the bottom. Instead, I would look for lace that has the scalloped edge already on the border. I just did a video on creating a lace hem here: ruclips.net/video/rWwVziPOp1c/видео.html
Love how clear your instructions always are! I seriously want to scallop EVERYTHING this summer!

does this work for gloves?
I imagine so, but it's a small area to work with so it might be difficult

Scallops could be more even and round, but overall great tutorial.
