We need Lightnings in the air again. I remember watching them at Akrotiri back in the sixties when I was a boy with a sense of awe and wonder. One of the finest aircraft ever.
It sounds like compressed air is being used to start the engines. Is this correct or is AVPIN still used? I guess AVPIN might be expensive or hard to get hold of for non-MoD customers?
just watched it through again I don't speak at all the voice on the pa system is the same guy who does the commentary when its cold war jets to certainly knows his stuff but I'm afraid I don't know his name
