I would like to read the scriptures' about the way the priest is awakened, about the coals being put to the garment of the sleeping priest. What scriptures tell us that?
@@judithmainer9622 I grew up in a 5013c church, and saw this performed many times. It sounds like old Hebrew, and always started the same interpretation. " I say unto you my lil children fear not...." and whatever follows. Someone would speak the message and someone else would interpret it. What was I witnessing? It sucks the video isnt available.
Thank you Monte for your Torah study, HOWEVER, you referring to Paul's teaching in 1CORINTHIANS 11, regarding covering of one's head, when praying, Paul says "any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonours his Head (Christ). And any woman who (publicly) prays or prophesies when she is bareheaded dishonours her head (her husband); it is the same as (if her head were) shaved. For if a woman will not wear (a head) covering, then she should cut off her hair too; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her head shorn or shaven, let her cover (her head). For a man ought not to wear anything on his head (in church), for he is the image and (reflected) glory of God (his function of government reflects the majesty of the divine Rule); but woman is (the expression of) man's glory (majesty, preeminence). For a man was not (created) from woman, but woman from man; Neither was man created on account of or for the benefit of woman, but woman on account of and for the benefit of man." (Gen 2:18.)
My understanding is a kippa/ yamaka is a 5th century CE innovation within Judaism. Adherence to wearing a kippa signifies submission to the authority of the rabbis. I don't see that as being borne in the faith in Messiah at all. Messiah spoke against the traditions of the Pharesees which continues on to this day.
Thank you for God's teaching
Blessings to the Mishpacha!!!

Here's a good analyses of the false conception about speaking in tongues
Well well, how convenient that I clicked on the link and it's "not available" sad how the truth is being censored and taken down
