Every other western major country has free healthcare as a human right. America doesn't and we pay double. While corporations can write off unlimited taxes. We fund corporate welfare instead. Its so weird. I don't get it either.

It really seems like whack-a-mole. We should just make it so all our veterans have all their healthcare needs covered without delay. Why is that so hard for Republicans to get behind?
Because you can't profit off of doing the right thing. Healthcare, public schools, prisons... are being monetized. We the people, are being drained of all wealth and resources as our social security is siphoned off by billionaires currently seeing record profits and win falls.
Thank you all for your service. (including you Jon). We need to take care of our vets for real. We've got to make it a priority. They deserve the best care.
We should give vets free healthcare for life and cover everything for them for free, I'm down for medicare for all of course, but at least we should cover old folks, kids, and vets. And maybe we can try to stop poisoning our service members too (think of camp lejeune, etc)? Just an idea
The coverage was not complete. Jon could have said I did my part and be done with it. He is using his exposure to keep people accountable, LONG TERM, not swept under the rug. Respect for that man.
I'm happy for all the troops that got to make it home. Now, we have to hold them up despite the effort of the government. Or lacking efforts, i should say.
I know a marine that illegally stole tank remnants. I explained to the navy boy that DU was used in our AT munitions, but the fetus didn’t listen to me.
I remember, with sadness, how during the early years of such disastrous campaign, criticizing the exposure to depleted uranium, was considered anti-american by many behind a desk winning big money. I also remember the kids playing around tanks destroyed with such ammunition. Obsolete tanks that wouldn't withstand the weakest drone attack on today's Ukraine.
What better use of one's fame than to direct attention on neglected issues and people in need who should not be ignored and wouldn't be if society had its priorities straight.
Thank Jon Stewart, yes. By bringing his high profile to this, hopefully something will get done. Shame, however, shame on those who call upon the citizens of the country to make sacrifices in the field of war, abandon their warriors when they return home, and then pay them the hypocrisy of thanking them for their service. The Military Industrial Complex really learned from Vietnam. They’ve made worshiping the service of the common soldier a religion. They used the shame people felt at vilifying soldiers returning from Vietnam as a way of perpetrating war under the guise of respecting the troops, and then, when they return from war, cutting their services and leaving them to the apathetic ministrations of whatever is left.
I’m glad he’s fighting for the vets, I truly am. Since he has a platform though he should probably at least give Trump credit for stream lining the va process and benefits.
Anyone who has spent any time in the military knows that servicemen and women will claim literally anything and everything they possibly can as a duty related ailment and seek payment for it after they separate. At a certain point, Stewart needs tombe educated on this and needs to consider whether his efforts are valid or if they're merely supporting the agenda of selfish "I'm gonna get every cent i can for anything I can no matter if it's legitimate or not!" Why are we still fighting for this. It should not have to fall to Jon Stewart to get this done.

Jon Stewart is a true American hero! 🦸
Jon Stewart for vp
Jon Stewart does more for Americans than any Republican.
Well... yeah, but that is a pretty low bar. I mean canned tuna does more for Americans than any Republican.

Republicans actually did a lot for Americans (as long as they are from the rich class, and that’s classist)
Jon Stewart thank you for trying so hard to help the veterans.🇺🇲

RUN FOR OFFICE ALREADY! Thanks again Jon.
That isnt his post. We need skilled bureaucrats in office that LISTEN TO Jon and can fight the fight proper. Dude is a champion.
Jon Stewart is a hero. I’d vote for him.
Jon Stewart is amazing!!!! Fighting for our vets
Excited to see him on Monday on the Daily Show

Get it done, Jon! Thank you!
Thank you, Jon, for all of your influence & support for American Veterans ❣️👍🇺🇸

I’m disgusted that Jon Stewart had to do this. He’s an American hero.
Its amazing that it takes a comedian to help get this done instead of the people who work for US the people
This shouldn't be a partisan issue. Huge respect to Jon Stewart to standing up for our heroes.
It’s a no brainer ! Please take care of these people. 😢
Support our Veterans!!!
😂😂😂😂😂
Savage sideburn on Stewart's height! 😂
This guy should be our next President.
Jon Stewart 2024
I'd vote for him
There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t regret that someone like Jon Stewart didn’t run for federal office. What a guy
Jon Stewart is a national treasure. I mean he’s done more for veterans and first responders than any of those current politicians ever have.
These men deserve better
I thought Jon already won vets this health coverage???

You rock Jon!!!
The evidence to address this under the PACT Act exists, but it would make things simpler if it became presumptive.
Jon is the POTUS America needs.
I think John could run for president and if he could get the nomination, i feel like he could truly win.
As a German, I accept Stewart to lead the whole world 💐
There should be no loopholes. If you were a military vet who were deployed you should be fully covered medically.
I'm happy for all the troops that got to make it home. Now, we have to hold them up despite the effort of the government. Or lacking efforts, i should say.
Don't let Project 2025 get a chance.. otherwise... bye bye veterans benefits.
