    Hindu Academy aims to promote a Comprehensive and Rational vision of Hinduism incorporating ideas of Religious Pluralism, Spiritual Humanism, and resonance between Science and Spirituality. It operates with the education establishments by working with schools colleges and universities as well as in the mainstream media.
    The role and relevance of Hinduism in contemporary society
    Hinduism has a great deal to contribute towards the spiritual health of the modern world. Its inherent pluralistic teachings offer the best resolution to how people of different religions can co-exist peacefully in a multi-faith society. Hinduism even allows for spirituality to be explored in non-religious modes, making teachings relevant and interesting for the youth of today. Family values promoted by Hinduism can foster more stable family units and better community cohesion. The reconciliation between the truth claims of a science-oriented worldview and a religiously oriented worldview is obligatory in this century. The Hindu Academy invokes findings at the cutting edge of modern sciences to promote this reconciliation.

      There is essence of Advaita vedanta (non duality) in Guru Granth Saheb , Sufi tradition , Kabbalah of the Jewish mystics and even Christian mysticism. Plato and Spinoza were also into it.

    Sir, whatever you speak contradicts the Bhagavad Gita, you speak about the west but most of the west are inclined towards krishna bhakti. They do kirtans spread the love of the supreme.. you are speaking about a dull mayavad philosophy which has no meaning, no love, no joy only being dill.. and you can see the growth of Vaishnavism in the whole world

    • @HinduAcademy
      @HinduAcademy  Год назад

      Sir, you comment from your own narrow point of view, the Bhagwad Gita has 1000s of translations and commentaries but you decide to subscribe to one particular commentary only, open your mind and read other commentaries, learn original Sanskrit and compare and contrast with other commentaries.
      In Ancient times we had many people who experienced the Ultimate Reality (we may call it God) Utterances of these people were recorded by oral tradition and passed down by families who trained children specially for this purposes, names of those who experienced God [RISHI] are recorded and we get many names, some of the names are Agastya, Atri, Bhardwaja, Gautama, Jamadagni, Vashistha, and Vishvam there are female rishis also Aditi, Arundhati, Anusuya, Gargi, VaK Ambhrini, Lopamudra, Yami and so on , please do watch these video on a Devi Suktam from Rigveda ruclips.net/video/PfTpaNljfR0/видео.html Vedas are eternal, meaning anyone experiencing God [ultimate reality] their spoken words about spirituality are also considered vedas, so there are ancient Vedas and there are more recent Vedas like books below written in last 150 years they are modern Vedas read complete works of Swami Vivekananda here www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/vivekananda/complete_works.htm if you want to read something that is easy to understand read "Gospel of Ramakrishna" given here www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/gospel/gospel.htm
