Disagree. I personally feel kh1 is the best. Even though it's storyline was a little confusing to us gamers at first. It literally pulled you in and you didn't want to stop playing. For me though even after completion, working your way up in the cups to fight sephiroth in the end on the hercules world. Was insane. Many hours tryna defeat that mofo. Credit where it's due kh2 is still very very very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the last boss battle in the city when running up rhe buildings and the music in the background, it was intense as heck!
There's absolutely no way they would make a kingdom hearts movie and not jump into the different Disney worlds. I'm picturing this movie would just be like Wreck-It Ralph with a bunch of references and be very surface level
I think Bless is right about what the KH movie will be, though I don’t think he needed to trash to actual story and characters of KH to make his point.
I always thought Kingdom Hearts would make a good anime with crazy the story gets. I’d rather see it adapted into a series than a movie

I think they should do a series instead of just a movie. It could be a series that leads up to a movie. Also need to have the Disney world's which is why you make it a series and the final part "the movie" would be the final arc of the first game.
For clarity: the Fallout 4 PS5 version is available as part of the PS Plus collection. It's not an update to the PS4 game, it's just a different SKU, exactly as Barrett described.
People did watch a bad Lion King movie ,Tim. It made a billion dollars and is getting a prequel movie.
Hell yeah give me Returnal in VR. We need more 3rd person VR games. Not everything has to be first person and you controlling each hand. Astrobot already proves 3rd person VR is doable and enjoyable. Imagine playing GoW Ragnarok or an Uncharted game. That cinematic feeling would be elevated easily because now you feel like you're a long for the adventure instead of just playing through it on your flat screen.

Personally as a fan I hope a KH movie would be an original story that is part of the canon and not a retelling of one of the games.
Fallout is a banger of a show and adds more story to the lore whereas The Last Of Us tv show is retelling a story most people already knew.
I guess it all depends on who they are making this movie for.

A Kingdom Hearts movie plot should be kind of House of Villains like, Maleficent & the Disney villains team up to gain the power of Kingdom Hearts & conquer the worlds.
King Mickey needs to gather the greatest Disney heroes to defend the world from this threat, this includes a seemingly ordinary teenage boy named Sora & his friends Kairi & Riku who are more special than they realise.
Or Sora gets appointed by the King to be the one who gathers the heroes from each world to join the cause because this evil threat threatens everyone's homeworld and is what separated him from his friends and his home
im sorry i had to comment on this , and i usually don't comment on videos lol , but it bothered me how he didnt understand what tim was saying. tim gets it . The story is amazing , yes its messy as hell. he clearly has no played or understood the concept of KH . or he didnt care enough to care about the characters , its also patience too like i said its messy . anyway thank you tim for trying to get in a word on the concept of understanding of the franchise.

I think it should be a series more than a movie because I agree KH1 is a lot of story and squeezing it into a 2-3 hour movie would be hard. I think each episode or episode and a half could be a different Disney world.
Also I think each Disney world should be treated like Lion King 1 1/2. Where the original Disney plot is still happening but the characters take a detour from the main plot introducing us to a new story.
Instead of kingdom hearts 4, I would prefer a complete remake of 1 and 2, updated so it finally makes sense.

I’m with Bless, KHs movie should as much Disney as possible and as little FF. Use it as a way to reboot the story and simplify it. You’ve got to sell it to the kids, this is another Mario movie situation.
I love Tim, but I strongly disagree with his take on the KINGDOM HEARTS movie. The game would've been greenlit by Disney film executives, and I'd bet money that the pitch that finally got this the thumbs-up (after not happening for 20 years) is "THE AVENGERS for Disney animated characters." It won't be like the games, where they just retell the animated movies' stories. Like AVENGERS, it's going to take characters that already had their own films, and now force them to work together, with Sora in a Captain America-type role. I could be wrong, but I think the pitch of "AVENGERS meets ________" still holds a lot of power in Hollywood. Hell, even WWE just had their AVENGERS moment.
Disney has already done something similar to KH, it’s called Wreck It Ralph 1 & 2 which were fine. The question will be, will they actually do anything interesting with the art styles and choreography, or will everything just be uniform and feel kinda bland like Wreck Ralph was. Ideally it should be a blend of anime action, a final fantasy style story, while paying homage to Disney animation over the century by having the unique art styles of each world. But I don’t think Disney Corporate will let something like that go to theaters, they’re way too risk averse.
How pissed would people be if the movie is literally what content creators did and that was put all the khm fmvs in order and called it kh movie lol. I reckon it will be as stated and ai/cgi will fill in between each fmv lol
I can't get behind Blessing because "Disney-World the Movie" came out last year, it was called Wish, and it basically already doesn't exist

Tim, Disney owns all of these properties.. it’s not like they have to borrow the rights to Aladdin or Lion King. They can do whatever they want. A KH movie without Disney worlds in it, you might as well throw it in the trash.
The only way for Returnal VR to work is in 3rd person. Yes it will make us sick, and yes it will be glorious

Ok we need to get Blessing to actually play KH2 or even BBS. He's not horrible wrong but he is not understanding what Tim is saying. After KH1, the disney franchise has become less and less important and less interwined in the core KH story. I think there is definitely a successful KH movie that doesn't include the disney worlds (but keeps the characters) but the Disney company would not make that movie.

Both Tim and Bless clearly need to replay KH1. Neither of them seem like they know anything about the story and events of the 1st game. Tim seems to have too much KH3 on the brain where they did just rehash the movie stories beat for beat. KH1 world hopping is incredibly important for the progression of the story, and they just lightly touch on story beats from the original movies while also adding original sequences.
Tim is being way too pessimistic about KH. You can easily streamline KH 1 and use at least 3 worlds.

I actually had to stop everything i was doing when i heard Tim say the Disney stuff should be toned down because i was so flabbergasted. No one is playing these games just for the nonsensical plot. I can promise you that. Even the most hardcore fans have a hard time explaining what is going on to newcomers. Also Disney has done this cameo-fest concept already and was largely successfu at it for the most part (wreck it ralph 2). I think this is going to be an easy W for them.
