- It is not often the case that the sequel surpasses the original, but when it comes to our encounters with Orphaned Land, that is exactly what we have experienced.

Thank you for this wonderful review! You guys are awesome 😄
Just a little correction: Sapari has 0 choir parts in it, so this is why you didn't see me conduct the choir on that one! :)
That being said, you're right about the fact that conducting is not always necessary. But in this case of a super large stage with complicated sound and an orchestra, it was actually crucial. I had the job of communicating whatever happens in the band and with the orchestra to the choir.
Yooo, the Jerry Seinfeld bit was just for fun and giggles. I don't understand conducting but I'm sure it's necessary. Otherwise it wouldn't be there. And thanks for the awesome performance! /Andrei
великолепно шикарно 👍🤘

Nemophila Power Ballad (Odyssey)
0, Hey hey hey! I never said it was **bad**! not at all!
What I *did state* is that the original sound vibes differently, and the orchestra (INSTEAD of other instuments) changes it (i.e. lack of the buzuki / oriental guitar).
And I find the original vibe (which is less "smooth"), the more oriental one, better than orchestrated version which replaces many instruments for the strings...
1. The song title and content are a reference to Plato's cave allegory, and it is done in a very nice and clever way.
2, I'm glad you guys followed up on Orphaned Land.
I think you are going to keep getting more and more into it as you go deeper!
3. The drummer (Matan Shmuely) is amazing, and he has a channel with drum cam where you can actually see how much more complex and great his work is.
Also, he sings in some of the songs.
4. Unlike previous albums, the album this song is taken from is where Noa actually had made the vocals (with the choir), so this is totally up her alley!
Also, here's a livestream from a show 8 days ago which contains many of the songs in this album and she sings there (and also growls).

They remain fun and amazing.
5. I would recommend you taste "Disciples of the Sacred Oath II" from the live show of 2011 in Tel Aviv - It will take you to places!
(starting minute 28 on ruclips.net/video/XXH62AmUEdI/видео.html )
It's not their best song (they have improved much since that album), but is definitely a rather unique one and worth hearing.
Oh and also, if you want all the songs from the live show...

Ok, I get your point better regarding the Oriental vibes now. We'll try to reach more Orphaned Land. /Andrei
