Yeah I started playing and after studying the game for 2 months before ever touching the game there’s still so much to learn. If I just saw this game one day and decided to buy it I would have no idea, there’s no tutorial, there’s no guides in game, and as a new player it’s impossible to buy anything because you need to level up a lot just to buy the dumbest items.
@@Cjoudan there is a Reddit thread about this where someone posted the code that's responsible for calculating this, if you're interested in when exactly it's what level you can Google it (can't post links in RUclips comments)
I really like the idea of Tarkov, but I'm not a very competitive player. I'd love to get into it with the gun customization and unlocking things by taking it from other players or NPCs. It just sounds fun. But the fact that if I die I lose not just the rewards, which is bad enough, but everything my character had on them? Damn that's just beyond punishing. For a player like me, I'd lose absolutely everything and enter rounds with no equipment left from dying constantly. Actual pain lol
You can insure your items and if no one loots them you get them back later, also something I used to do when I first started is wait a few minutes somewhere so all the highly geared players are gone and you can explore a bit more safely.
@@door_productions4896 Insurance costs money, money you get from going out and looting things. That’s still super punishing because you also use said money for basically everything else under the sun. I’m all set. Also, waiting sounds boring as hell. I’d rather go out and explore. I’d also rather not instantly die just because someone has more in game cash than you meaning they have better everything.
If you like the style but find Tarkov to be too much detail, grindy and stressful (like I do as well ;D).. have you tried Deadside? That's literally the whole point of tarkov though. You have to invest into gear in order to acquire more gear. If you suck, you can either reset your account or I belive there's basically a "welfare" you can get lol. Plus that's what scav rounds are for, getting that juicy free loot.
