Really helped me understand how to set everything up, but when I turned on the water, it would not push the head up and leaked all over. What am I doing wrong?
How would you match precipitation rates if you have 90, 180, and 360 degree patterns on the same zone, and you want them to all throw the same distance, for example 17ft?
Don't think it would be possible to do so and would start with the initial design aspect of the sprinkler system. One of those constraints / parameters you mentioned would have to be broken to satisfy the others.
My homes water pressure is typically between 35 and 40 PSI - kinda low but thats what the city gives my neighborhood. I currently have rainbird 3500s installed on my lawn with the size 2 nozzle and some of my sprinkler zones consistently have trouble rising - its a relatively new system and something that started happening shortly after install. Could installing smaller nozzles help resolve this? No leaks or anything and the valve is fully open. Thanks!

As others have added, this is an excellent, concise and clear video. Great job, and thank you so much!
Just wanted to mirror other comments... This was a very good, clear, and concise video. Thanks!
Great explanation! It really helps that you have the sprinkler head in hand up closer to the camera rather than just in the ground.
OK. Pardon my last comment. I see you have given me the link. I now have the chart.
First time I'm installing a sprinkler head. Your videos showed me everything I needed to know about the 3500. Thanks!!!
Now that was a clear and concise explanation for the Rainbird rotor. Much appreciated!
Thank you, thank you great instruction.
Excellent demonstration.
Thank you so much for these videos!!
Great video! Truly appreciate your time.
How can I get a copy of the chart for my future reference? Great video.
Very helpful. Thanks.
This is so good!
very helpful!!
Now I want to replace the heads I have!

Perhaps a leak somewhere or low pressure - need 40PSI

Yes it could help some but will get shorter distance throw of the water. Low pressure is a difficult one if not caught at the design phase.
Do they make a low angle nozzle for the 3500 like they do for the 5000? thanks!
Not that I’m aware off 🤔
Hi
So if I have 2.0 bar with the 0.75 nozzle, how long would I need to run the sprinkler to achieve roughly 1” of water down?
Thankyou

@@thesprinklerchannel thanks mate
Yea that chart helped also with your vid.
I’m from the Uk, so working in metric 😉
Thanks again
Does the Rain Bird 3500 nozzle tree come with any low-angle nozzles?
I don’t believe so unfortunately
No data if you only use 1? Inch/h
Second line item down at 0:41, depending on pressure
What if you have 22 zones and 100 heads? You need to hire a part time employee just to manage them 🤦🏻♂️
I’d look into some software and management devices that can monitor the system.
