- Union Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday said that he is 'paid to fix foreign policy, not social media'.
On Day 2 of India Today Conclave 2024, when Jaishankar was asked for his views on concern over how foreign policy is decided on social media, he said, "I am paid to fix foreign policy. I am not paid to fix social media. The nature of the platform is such that everything that you somewhat disapprovingly state gets more eyeballs on social media."

He is a strict vegetarian while his wife Kyoko, two sons Dhruva and Arjun, and a daughter Medha, all of them are "𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘀" following the fundamental philosophy of them i.e "𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆, 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲".

Yet he could lucidly answer to all that questions by quoting philosophies, wisdom and proverbs... by stating the numbers, facts, statistical data and dates! Moreover he also remembers "The Past Histories and Present Affairs of Others' Countries"!!! (You may wonder how could even possible by him?🤔) That's why the foreign journalists are often "get backfired" when they asked a hanky-panky, irrelevant yet communal type of questions to him!!!
After well-prepared and reading from paper... most journalists are even get "panic" and their words get "stammered" at the time they ask questions to Elites! As you know, the western reporters are mostly "ego-centrical and rude" by nature! However at all times... this external affairs minister (Dr Jay) successfully maintained at all times his calm, humble yet polite... he maintained his statesmanship at highest level... he answered to every questions that posted to him with smiles, with highest diligent, confident, commitment and courage!!!
