Is it possible for an individual to have this & not have any long term damage or would amputation be something that would be needed in old age?

I live in canada, right now its winter, even if its only -10 degrees C and WITH mitts, they turn white. Also, the cold water from the robinet can cause this or let's say touching a piece of frozen food... I worked in the cold during a season with water and special gloves. but i think i burned my fingers now they super fragile.. :(

@@Chubbykuku yaa I consulted my doctor after 2 weeks thinking that it will be normal by its own but it didn't . So go to your doctor he will remove the puss from your finger in the right way by putting a niddle through a point and after the puss is removed the entire pain will be gone within 2-3hours .
(But the pain you will feel when he'll insert the niddle through the tip of your finger Ooo man it is on another lvl )
