@@ScorpioCesarExactly. He’s sort of a quintessential Heisei Godzilla figure for anyone’s collection. We’ll see how that Hiya figure turns out, but for now, this is my new favorite Heisei Godzilla figure in my collection.
The problem with this figure isn’t that it’s not the Hokkaido version. The problem is that compared to the standard SHMA Godzilla 89. It feels like a step backwards in some aspects. Great video as always man!
Thank you bro! I wish I had the 1989 Godzilla to compare them fairly but unfortunately I only have the big triple K one...unless you plan on selling him, ;)
I’ve seen lots of Heisei Godzilla figures made by SHMA and some are really good, but I like to see different Toho Kaijus like Anguirus both 1968 and Final Wars but with softer materials.
Thanks for getting the blue atomic breath effect part and make gmk godzilla have it in your displays for the next time you use gmk godzilla again in a video and the beam looks good to gmk godzilla the most in your collection of sh monsterarts of all the godzilla's and monsters!
Honestly, I can’t help but absolutely loving the 1991 Godzilla incarnation like he’s some sort of an amalgamation of the 1989 and 1995 Godzilla suits altogether. Also, I’m gonna prefer the upcoming Hiya Toys Hokkaido Godzilla 1991 articulated figure since it’s matched accurately like how it was meant to be depicted in “Godzilla vs King Ghidorah”, so I’m gonna make a easy pass on both the SHMA Godzilla 1989 and 1991 since I’ve already gotten the NECA Godzilla 1989 and waiting for the release of Hiya Toys’ Hokkaido Godzilla.
@@ScorpioCesar Also I just ordered some more S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla figures for review on my channel along with my first HiyaToys Godzilla figure but I got them for my personal collection as well. And to tell you the truth I'm not gonna lie SHMA figures can often be real bank account drainers. And believe me I'm not rich by any means necessary.
I’ve ordered him from Amazon and he’ll be my first S.H. MonsterArts. (Also why does everyone prefer the landing ver I think the Shinjuku is far superior)
Kind of explain why I prefer him in the comparison but it mainly comes down to the pure size and muscle definition. He just looked more imposing, meaner, and destructive when he first appears in Hokkaido and during the first fight with King Ghidorah.
Use a pair of tweezers to pull the balljoint forward enough where you can shove the bottom jaw down onto it, as long as it connects you should be able to open and close his mouth without issue. Just don't expect his mouth to fully close shut.
My figure was fine, both eyes were the same size, mine has the sake jaw but i didnt have too mych trouble getting his mouth back in andine wasnt tight, when i get a fig that has tight joints i use wd40 not soap
I really love this guy. He’s like a combination of the best parts of the 1989 and 1995 molds.
Yeah, I can see what you mean. He kind of just fits a general Heisei Godzilla mold for anyone who needs one. I love how mad he looks.

Since i'm a Heisei completionist i gotta get him.
Don't let me stop you, I too am a Heisei completionist!
My first heisei godzilla from monsterarts. I love him. And the eyes on my copy are flawless
They really made this guy perfect for mean mugging when you tilt his head down.
Nice everyone!

I agree with you. This feels like a step down from the SHMA Godzilla 1989 figure. Still a nice figure but it could have been a lot better.
this is why I love heisei godzilla
He's such a brute, I love him too!
I’ve seen lots of Heisei Godzilla figures made by SHMA and some are really good, but I like to see different Toho Kaijus like Anguirus both 1968 and Final Wars but with softer materials.
It's only a matter of time till we get Anguirus, mark my words!

It's a good effect piece, I don't know why they don't reuse it more often in blue. Dumb Tamashii
My main problem with this figure is that the tail is loose and the jaw is extremely loose but apart from that the figure is nice.
Sounds like yours has some QC issues. :(
I feel like we'll see a Hokkaido version in the near future. Hence why we haven't gotten a Decisive Battle version of King Ghidorah 1991 (pre Mecha).
@@eviastellarcosplay I can definitely see that being a possibility!
I think imma buy this figure soon looks great and in my opinion i like the shinjuku version more than hokkaido idk why
I’m definitely thinking about adding this into my collection
I do recommend him if you're looking for another Heisei Godzilla!
Cool Goji! Amazon has Traxxas shock oil for around $10. I got better results than when I used dish soap.
Thank you for the heads up Darryl! Going to have to order soon and get to shock oiling my tight joints.

Dont worry hiyas new figure of the other suit looks great!
It does but did you see their Ghidorah 1991?!
@@ScorpioCesar ✨ *chef’s kiss* ✨
Also if you have overly tight joints use a little baby oil it'll help out a lot.
Indeed! Thankfully my Final Wars Goji is good.

I have this one! 😁👍🏼
I also think you may have gotten a bad one off the batch because mine doesn't have any issues with the jaw.
Possibly, I wouldn't say it's necessarily bad but just not as good as some of the others that can close shut.
Are you planning to one day review the new Godzilla 1972 monster arts?
Yes! Once he arrives in the states and my preorder ships.

Would this be a good stand in for the super mechagodzilla and upcoming space godzilla?
Of course! Absolutely!
Hello! I have a question, what is the best thing to buy? The Godzilla of 2002 (Kiryugoji) or this Godzilla of 1991?
KiryuGoji got reissued twice already and this one just came out. Hard to choose but I'd go with KiryuGoji
@@ScorpioCesartysm! ^^
Should i buy 1954 or 1972 or 1991
Which Godzilla suit do you prefer?
Idk my figure mouths disconnect and i become more strest out! The worst part that the joint of the mouth disconnect to can you help me to fix this?

This happened to me multiple times as well but I was able to get it on but my fingers hurt after.

WD40 eh? Interesting choice!
Mine has a jaw that is really loose
Yeah, not a fan of how the jaw works on this one.
