It is unrealistic to think that African Americans or any group will just naturally come together, and it should not be expected. However, what I think should happen is that a not-for- profit diaspora association should be established to provide support for those moving to Kenya. This association would also map what each diaspora is doing in terms of business and measure it impact on the Kenya economy so that we may present our positive impact on the economy to the government. So that we can political influence and representation. No other group is expected to "come together ". You should come together with like-minded people. Finally, i personally make adjustments when watching youtuber from the USA saying, "Come to Kenya or Africa " when their business is based on that and they want to be paid consulting fees and they only been in Africa 6 months. I dont mind paying for services, but im more inclined to go with someone whose been there longer or with someone local or born there.
Establishing a not-for-profit diaspora association is a brilliant idea. It would provide much-needed support for those relocating, foster collaboration among the diaspora, and highlight the positive economic contributions to the Kenyan economy. Presenting such impact data to the government could indeed pave the way for better political representation and influence. Your point about connecting with like-minded individuals is key-it’s more realistic and productive to build communities around shared goals and values.
Interesting.
Thanks for the comment

I disagree respectfully with you sis. Kenyans are community or family oriented more than us but they are most definitely capitalist as well.
I think so as well to some point..Yap
