I know the anglerfish *seems* like an obvious trap to fall for, but I think Stupendium’s acting really carries home the fisherman being blinded by pure relief. It looks almost like the sun rising to break up the storm… until the jaws close and he only sees darkness forevermore.

An atoll is a geographical formation, a ring-shaped island, including a coral rim, that encircles a lagoon, and there’s a couple hundred of them. There may be something I’m not recalling from the game that may make that link more solid, though.
I just want to point out, as an abyssal fan, there's only a few angler fish that are behemoths, by which I mean only 2 I know of, compared to the 200 known species of angler fish. Most angler fish only range in size from 1 inch to 7 inches (2 cm to 18 cm).

Yeah, to comment on the angler fish but at the end, in game the light is an illusion of another boat rather than just a random light.
