The level of strength to leave is insane to actually do it. I tried to leave and he would pull me back everytime. With the empty promises and the month long changed behavior and then the switch would happen. You are in a fog and don’t understand that a person that says they love you can treat you like trash. And then turn around and treat everyone else so much better so you think they can too if you change who you are. She is a survivor. She is someone that will live a happy life! I think Brittany stayed for so long due to being insecure. I am happy she found her confidence and self worth and left him. He treated her absolutely horrible and never showed remorse, except briefly when his dad passed away he "acted" changed. So happy for her new chapter!
Unpopular opinion - but my heart does go out to Jax, who probably isn't even fully aware of the true sadness of this situation. I have a sibling who is like Jax, and who I am convinced is developmentally stunted even though they socially exhibit somewhat normal behaviour, when you spend more time with them, you notice that they truly dont understand empathy, life, feelings, and have wild mood changes that they instantly can recover from. They went on to have a child who is deeply autistic and that was further proof to me that genetically, there is something I've observed in them that is different from others since we were young children. They dont mean what they do or say, they just dont truly understand the impact of their actions and words even though they outwardly present like they do. So, anyway, I see my siblings in Jax. It's uncanny.

I do think this relationship was doomed from the very beginning, but when I heard Jax say things would be different if they moved to Kentucky. It was then I realized she was in it for fame as well as he.

I feel bad for Britney because I know she tried. But, know, just because you file for a Divorce, doesn’t mean you are! It is considered adultery if you hook up with someone else while still legally married. I suppose if the two agree, it’s okay, and then it wouldn’t be an issue in court when asking for alimony.

I think Brittany stayed for so long due to being insecure. I am happy she found her confidence and self worth and left him. He treated her absolutely horrible and never showed remorse, except briefly when his dad passed away he "acted" changed. So happy for her new chapter!

Unpopular opinion - but my heart does go out to Jax, who probably isn't even fully aware of the true sadness of this situation. I have a sibling who is like Jax, and who I am convinced is developmentally stunted even though they socially exhibit somewhat normal behaviour, when you spend more time with them, you notice that they truly dont understand empathy, life, feelings, and have wild mood changes that they instantly can recover from. They went on to have a child who is deeply autistic and that was further proof to me that genetically, there is something I've observed in them that is different from others since we were young children. They dont mean what they do or say, they just dont truly understand the impact of their actions and words even though they outwardly present like they do. So, anyway, I see my siblings in Jax. It's uncanny.
Why did she think it would end well? Jax is a selfish narcissist and he wants a hot babe on his arm. I knew he would dump her the minute she gained an ounce because that's all he cares about.

I think Brittany is a beautiful, loving and forgiving person knowing everything she knew about Jax and still marrying him. She did this because she loved him and I truly believe it just showed her character. Love you Brittany and wish you nothing but the best.
She gained way too much weight and drank way too much and depended on the "hive" always being behind her and knowing they would attack Jax. She should have never married him. It wasn't love. She enjoyed the martyr role, and ended up addicted to it.
