I am an artist in Sacramento.This sculpture will be helpful in so many ways.Art is in Nature and Human Nature needs more art for our soul and senses.Yes, we know Sacramento cannot stand next to the worlds museums.I love this sculpture,if this is the one in the background.I understand everything about why and who,they want to bring.Jeff Koons beautiful sculpture will boost and to help recognize this city and artists as a very serious Art Community.Art and Money never will mix.I cannot wait for this to happen.Art and it's nature and chemistry is very profound in it's effect to those hearts and souls who embrace this,who needs this for all kinds of reasons.I don't know much about those who are not in the know,but for me.I live for Art and Art lives for me.Art will always lie in Nature,lets this be for the better for Human Nature. This is proof Sacramento is managed and run by a bunch of morons. If only they spent as much time selecting the sculpture as they spent on gang stalking, street theater and corrupting everything they touch maybe we'd get something good. This sculpture is an insult to everybody in Sacramento county. The city leaders refer to the homeless and people on state assistance as "Pickles". Why don't they just order a 3 million dollar tax payer funded pickle jar sculpture? Now guess why they choose Piglet? Lovely people right? This is an insult, we have a homeless crisis, government workers ready to go postal and teachers who are ready to go on strike everywhere. Wake up people, your city is ran by morons. This is their way of calling you all stupid.
So then why isnt the rest of the art not worth as much as this so called art??? Why is this man being paid so much if others are being paid so little not a good note to say are artist are not worth as much to us as this artist is smh
