Day 65 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. But I’m STRUGGLING with this reaction on so many levels: 1) wish you had used his official performance video that was to the explicit version or the official audio rather than a fan made lyric video which doesn’t count toward charts 2) the repeated uses of the word “bad”, “it’s not that bad”, if it’s JK it “IS that bad”. Totally get what you were trying to say but it was a miss… also get to know JK a bit more and this really is a move that is very much him. Even though it’s sexual, it’s not about him getting what he wants, it’s about doing it right for the person he loves. He is very much a romantic and his personal playlists on Spotify for years have been filled with sexy baby making songs 3) BTS is not really K-pop or they wouldn’t have been exploring the themes that they do in their music since debut. Read Beyond The Story 4) Totally disagree that the explicit version is a completely different song - “break me off another time” “leave you with that afterglow” and Latto’s verse… it’s the same song just a little more disguised in the clean version Anyway, sorry for the Ted Talk. Don't get me wrong, honestly for me this whole thing is rather ridiculous...I really like Jungkook, but this was unnecessary, I feel like he's still going through puberty at 25...as usual many armys overreact about nothing...for me even the standard version is quite explicit, just take a closer look at the lyrics...personally, I prefer song lyrics where you can read between the lines...I've talked to several people about this and we look at it the same way...JK probably wants to be too much of a western artist...the song is catchy but I'm not into Latto either (too vulgar for my taste) and ultimately I'm a bit disappointed...but that´s life...

It is a bit of a shock because of how squeaky clean BTS has always been with their music. But chapter 2 was all about letting ARMY know "we're not boys anymore, we're men. 1) wish you had used his official performance video that was to the explicit version or the official audio rather than a fan made lyric video which doesn’t count toward charts
2) the repeated uses of the word “bad”, “it’s not that bad”, if it’s JK it “IS that bad”. Totally get what you were trying to say but it was a miss… also get to know JK a bit more and this really is a move that is very much him. Even though it’s sexual, it’s not about him getting what he wants, it’s about doing it right for the person he loves. He is very much a romantic and his personal playlists on Spotify for years have been filled with sexy baby making songs
3) BTS is not really K-pop or they wouldn’t have been exploring the themes that they do in their music since debut. Read Beyond The Story
4) Totally disagree that the explicit version is a completely different song - “break me off another time” “leave you with that afterglow” and Latto’s verse… it’s the same song just a little more disguised in the clean version

Don't get me wrong, honestly for me this whole thing is rather ridiculous...I really like Jungkook, but this was unnecessary, I feel like he's still going through puberty at 25...as usual many armys overreact about nothing...for me even the standard version is quite explicit, just take a closer look at the lyrics...personally, I prefer song lyrics where you can read between the lines...I've talked to several people about this and we look at it the same way...JK probably wants to be too much of a western artist...the song is catchy but I'm not into Latto either (too vulgar for my taste) and ultimately I'm a bit disappointed...but that´s life...

It is a bit of a shock because of how squeaky clean BTS has always been with their music. But chapter 2 was all about letting ARMY know "we're not boys anymore, we're men. And this is not the Disney channel". As a whole, I really don't like the song. Sounds a lot like what we have here in the west. The video was cute though, even if he was just trying to smash.
