I second this notion! Also, is it even a cream ale if its fermented with a lager strain?
What are your thoughts on sugar additions in the boil? I’ve seen lots of people using cane sugar molasses, Demerara, etc. did you see many examples of that?
It's been done and wins. Only about 30% of the recipes used simple sugars. Follow the % of adjuncts in the video, 4-10%

I don't think you need that big of a starter - lager yeast require bigger starters because they are working in harsh, cold conditions (best temp for yeast is about 30-35, but that's not the best for our beers).
