This defines drum & bass for me, breakbeats, amen breaks showing the evolution from its jungle origins, blended in with heavy modern digital sounds! Sweet almost liquid-ish chords and chimes near the end also.. Woiiiiii
Conversely, this is really far off of my definition of drum and bass. This is more akin to dubstep to me, but I have a negative opinion about half-time in general.
Felipe Varela each to their own hey, i see jump up as more related to dubstep really, screeching and lack of structure (i like certain jump up tunes/djs still, not bashing it)
Nick Pierpoint Well, I relate jump-up more strongly to drum and bass because it maintains the fast rhythm that DnB is known for. Not that I appreciate it a lot, there are very few jump-up tunes that I like because most of it sounds extremely uninspired and generic to me.

Super interesting blend of old school and contemporary dnb here. Surface level banger but deep down shows a hell of a lot of talent
This is definetly one of my favourite songs of this year, I'm not joking, it's just superb, it mixes so many sounds and styles and it doesn't sound like a mess (considering that 6 people worked on this track) because the transition is perfect. 10/10 great job!
