For those that have noticed - the reason for the out of tune guitar solo at the end of Here and Now is that I broke a string on my guitar at approx 4:47, some guitarists/musicians will understand that when this (rarely) happens it can throw the whole instrument out of tune, especially with a floating tremolo system on a Fender Stratocaster. A decision had to be made: do I stop playing and kill the vibe and intensity of the performance, as Iain is unable to cover for me as he’s playing acoustic… or carry on as it’s near the end of the song anyway? No right or wrong decision IMO. Have to admit tho, it does sound f**king awful! It happens. However, there’s a ton of vids on RUclips of me playing this song where there is no string breakage.
OMG! And the original recording is an exemplar of what a sublime guitar solo should sound like. It must have been Harvey or David Cummings on the original, not this garbage attempt.

I was in the front row directly in front of the guitarist he snapped a string and it threw all the rest out of tune due to the tremolo 👍
