I know Lisa will get the blame for the VPR reboot but in truth these decisiona are made by the network. They are financing it all. But it kinda makes sense as that cast have now become a whole different beast. They started as servers but are now fairly well off celebrities. It did kinda make Lisa redundant on the show cause none needed to be working for her anymore. Plus they have ran out of storylines. The ratings were still Bravos highest so it went out on top. Its gonna be hard for a new cast to come in with those kind of ratings. Reboots are very tricky as we see with New york. But Lisa is also exec producer on The Valley which not everybody knows.

And yes it is all for camera she doesnt know where that line is anymore. she outed her sisters alcolholism on camera. she sacrificed her friendship with Lisa for a storyline. now she is staging pictures with a lesbian during her break up with Mauricio. Its all for show with Kyle. You can call her two faced but she is technically on her 13th face.
Kyle is so superficial! The only thing missing with Kyle is a horse to go with her cowboy hat & bow legs. Lol! She always wanted to be LVP, BUT has no class / etiquette at all. She even chews her food like a rabbit……. Can’t stand her.
As legendary as the original cast was, but I hear what Lisa means. After 12 seasons, it's time to go a different direction. Whether it's successful or not, but it's worth a try.
I am here for back in the trenches restaurant show and to cheer/watch these new “characters” evolve .. hoping for cameos of course and wow another restaurant … Way to go LVP. As always the MVP
The other casts are close to 40ish & some are. At rheir ages they should have moved on. Had it not been for the show most would have been addicts and on the streets by now.
I won't be watching VPR. I loved the OG of the VPR, the chemistry, and the authenticity was real. It will flopp just like the spin off of Southern Charm and Leva and her restaurant
We’ll see if the new VPR cast can work. A few years ago when they brought in so many new people, it was so god awful because all those characters were so scummy and unlikable. So Bravo and Lisa’s track record of bringing in new cast is not good. Unless it clicks right away, it will be done in 2years.
Nobody wants the same old married couples with kids. I won't watch without James on! Good luck to you finding a new audience with the same old shit starting with a new cast that Nobody wants to know!
Will Lisa showcase a different restaurant and location? She is right the Toms and Scheana and Lala attacks on Arianna instead of supporting ended VPR and nothing entertaining watching middle-aged drunks picking up chicks half their age and acting like they did in 20s.

A reboot of VPR is just more money and publicity for Lisa. She’s been very lucky being at right place at right time with the right connections.

I think it was necessary because no one worked there anymore. Also it was so toxic it was hard to watch.
