This video helped me a lot how to shave more proper and gentler as I normally press too hard and cause skin irritation as I used to shave using a razor as I never realized that I had such sensitive skin and had to switch using an Electric shaver that can be used for wet and dry. So between wet and dry shave I prefer wet shave because it removes the hairs off your face really nice and smoothly.
Thanks for the video. I use the electric shave or lotion type pre-shave conditioner. Today I tried the shaving cream due to this video. What I really liked is rinsing the shaver under hot water after a pass or two and feeling the warm blade on my skin. I'll probably do this more often now. I know most RUclipsrs want to review the razors with more than a week of stubble. If I haven't shaved more than 4 days I've never used a foil or rotary razor that does an acceptable job on my neck. I think the point of the electric razor is to use it everyday to avoid irritation that you may get with daily uses of cartridge or safety razors as those razors shave off more skin than an electric. (Note sometimes electric razor do pull skin through the foil and cut slightly). I've always been told I have a young looking face, I think part of that is due to my daily rotary razor shave as it massages the skin and face muscles while trimming the hair. I also don't worry about the occasional missed area as I'll get it the next day. I don't go over and over an area, if I need to get rid of a tough spot I use a safety razor to touch up that spot, but most times I leave it till the next day. I use the electric razor daily, and when I have an event to go to, I'll take my safety razor and use that for that day only.
I don't work for the company. I've tested the LF against Phillip's Norelco AT830 & 6000, the Hatteker, the Flyco375, and the Panasonic.foil razor. The LF is the lightest, has the best battery life, and gives the best shave. Highly recommended.
thx vm. I'm watching this as I need to replace mine but just don't want to spend 100s on a good electric razor. Given the (very low) price of this over here in Germany (35 Euro) I was skeptical, but after your remark I think I'll try it.
I gave up blade wet shaving 32 years ago, it gave me so much irritation, redness, and cuts that it was hell whenever I had to shave; then I decided to try a Philips rotary dry shaver ......... that was it, the end of painful and irritating shaving finished, since then I never looked back to wet blade shave. I have a 6 years old Braun 340s-4 wet/dry foil rechargeable shaver, it has the same "cassette"(foil/cutter head), the shaver still shaves with a great closeness, very smooth and it holds the charge for almost 2 weeks of daily use; I also have a 2 and half years old Philips series 1000 rechargeable dry rotary shaver that I use after going more than 3 days without shaving as the Philips can handle 4 to 5 days grown beard better than the Braun, but Braun shaver is better for daily shaving and it gives a much closer and clean shaves than the Philips as long as you use it daily. I got a new Braun series 3 330 dry foil mains/rechargeable shaver as a backup for the Braun 340s-4 in case this one stops one of these days as it's getting old and it may break without notice. I really recommend Braun shavers for those men with very sensitive skin and also for the guys that want a very close shave on daily basis, but if you shave every other day (3 to 5 days) then the Philips shaver is a better option as it can handle very thick and rough facial hair than the Braun; but if you like a daily shave free from irritation, very smooth and clean ...... go for the Braun without a doubt.
@@reedcarpenter2994 the Braun I have now is one year old Braun series 3 330 dry foil rechargeable shaver; it's great shaver for a daily use, and it holds the charge for 2 and half weeks, this is a great shaver for sensitive skin and fine hair ( for every day shaving is perfect), but more than 3 days, it'll struggle a bit, especially if your facial hair is too thick....... other than that it's fantastic shaver.
My wife brought me one of these about 2 years ago, I used it a few times, ticked it in the drawer and forgot about it. I have a bald head that I have tower shave every day as it grows around the sides. I pulled this shaver back out the drawer last night but couldn't find the charger, realised it's just a normal usb charger input, so got it charged up and didn't realise you can set shave with it. Used it the last couple of days and it's brilliant, I will save a fortune on razor blades. It has such a close shave that it's hard to tell the difference between a wet shave with a razor and this product. Highly recommend it, get one today if you don't already have one. 👍
I’m a post menopausal lady with a fine face fur and a couple of more stubborn whiskery hairs on my lip. I have been using this with Vanicream shave balm and it works great!
I got one of these Philips wet and dry shavers in the past, would always leave a ton of stubble compared to mach 3 and foam and took forever to shave the same parts over and over. Then a ton of razor burn and redness afterwards. Maybe my skin just isn't used to it but was quickly back to the cartridges. Maybe this one is different but I don't think an electric can ever compare with a blade.
I’ve switched to back to my Philips Rotary Shaver lately due to working a lot of hours and needing a quick, convenient shave, I find that after about a week or so your skin adjusts to the shaver and you can get a pretty darn close shave. I like to wet shave with my electric on the weekends with Nivea Hydrating shave gel(the blue can), it has a nice smell and provides great glide being that it’s a gel. Top that off with a little menthol either by way of Skin Bracer or Aqua Velva and it’s an awesome shave!! Great video keep em coming! Happy shaving.
I agree with you. I could never really use a rotary though. I’d take it out of the box and I’d beak out. Surprisingly, this unit worked like a champ - I only used it because they sent me one and asked me to give it a try. I’d say that it does the trick and as you stated your beard and skin needs a few shaves with it to acclimate. Thanks for watching and sharing your story!
I am impressed with quality of the shave. I guess technology becomes cheaper and advances, or patents run out, or IP is stolen...idk but I'm impressed either way

I prefer the blade because nothing will ever compare to it. I gave up the blade years ago, but advantage with rotary shavers it can shave very fast in little time. If I shaved with blade, it could take up to 1 hour because my skin is sensitive... if I shaved too fast with blade I would get knicks, cuts, scars and bleed heavily on my face.
@@averageguytested Are you saying the Norelco OneBlade shaves closer than this shaver? If not, how is OneBlade better? Convenience, ability to shave longer hairs, detailing work, etc?
Good question. One Blade is much more versatile. It rips through long tough stubble or even a full beard like a hot knife thru butter. It has the benefits of a cartridge style razor that’s great for trimming and edging. It does it all with no nicks, cuts or tugging. The only area it falls short for me is on my neck since my hair grows in different directions there. One Blade works best when you work the blade against the grain.
