I loved both services - the 10 AM and the 1 PM - but for some reason I always love the soft-speaking version more (this Sunday, the 10 AM sermon). Either way, very very blessed by Pastor Carter. ❤
I have always loved watching Carter Conlon. It’s sad to see though that all of a sudden now, with a new pastor, there are giant big screen TVs and flashy things in the background. I’ve seen so many churches across the nation spend so much money on such useless things. I just hope that these things were not paid for with the church offerings - from real hurting people. I always loved watching Carter Conlon because of lack of the “entertainment“ in the background. This is not a knock on Carter Conlon. I do believe he is a very godly man.
I agree that the backgrounds are disturbing. Yet, the tv-screens may be of great help for people far back from the pulpit or have bad eyesight in general.

I have always loved watching Carter Conlon. It’s sad to see though that all of a sudden now, with a new pastor, there are giant big screen TVs and flashy things in the background. I’ve seen so many churches across the nation spend so much money on such useless things. I just hope that these things were not paid for with the church offerings - from real hurting people. I always loved watching Carter Conlon because of lack of the “entertainment“ in the background. This is not a knock on Carter Conlon. I do believe he is a very godly man.
I agree that the backgrounds are disturbing. Yet, the tv-screens may be of great help for people far back from the pulpit or have bad eyesight in general.

Please read 1 Corinthians 3 and pray to God about it. In verse 4-7 it says:
For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not mere men?
What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to each one.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.
So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.
That's a real shame. They have wonderful Pastors, including Tim. You're really missing out😢
