The wish came true 25 years ago when he came to Los Angeles with his wife Sara Banu to raise money for victims of Bosnia-Herzegovina War. Even upon his arrival, the Los Angeles Times wrote a Page in his honor. RIP,

Most all the trajidy films of dilip sahib were seen by me.junun ki hud tak i was his foolish fan.I did not read myself but probably from some one i got that some english critic cited that from front and behind and from right to left dilip was an actor.Realy he was king of both tragic and comic films.No comparison to his acting and dialoge delivery.Allah karim unkiaghfirat.karay ameen.

I hv myself not seen many movies of dilip saheb since I was born much later to prime time of this great artist !
But a few that I hv seen, even left a great impact on me - what an artist he was - his dialogue delivery , diction and any thing that he did was of unique style !

I had an opportunity to meet dilip sahab at a wedding ceremony of ROSHNI RAWAIL in 1970 or 1971 i was introduced to him by my uncle's friend Mr raj kumar JHAMB a well known builder of Mumbai believe me when we shook hands he told me kaise hai HUZOOR kay MIZAZ what a fantastic gesture that was unforgettable i can never forget my full life ROSHNI RAWAIL was the daughter of well known producer director who produced films like MERE MEHBOOB AND SANGHRUSH my heartfelt condolences to saira BANOJI may God bless the divine soul in 1970 my salary stipend was rs only i was a apprentice chargeforeman

اللّٰہ پاک یوسف خان صاحب کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلٰی ترین مقام عطاکریں وہ اس دور کے اداکار تھے جب میرے والد صاحب بھی ابھی پیدا ھوئے تھے لیکن پتہ نہیں کیوں اور کیسے وہ فلمی دنیا کے میرے سب سے پسندیدہ ترین اداکار تھے میں آجکل کی فلمیں دیکھتا ہی نہیں ھوں اور اگر کبھی کوئی مووی دیکھنے کا دل کرے تو انکی یا امیتابھ بچن کی مووی دیکھتا ھوں۔ دلیپ کمار صاحب کی اداکاری ایسی تھی کہ ہم لوگ شاید حقیقت میں بھی ویسے ایکسپریشنز نہیں دے سکتے۔ مجھے انکی وفات سے دلی صدمہ ھوا جب انکی وفات کی خبر نیوز میں دیکھی تب میں کھانا کھارہا تھا لیکن اس خبر نے جیسے سارا جسم دل و دماغ سن کردیا اللّٰہ پاک انکی اگلی منازل آسان کریں

Hasan Nisar Sahib, I fully agree with what you said about Dilip Kumar the Legend. He was not only an star of acting but more than this, he was an intellectual, philosopher, thinker.
Today I watched his movie "Tarana" released in 1952 with heroin Madhubala, I was stunned, speechless to see his dialogue delivery, his beautiful smile, his innocent mischiefs, his dressing, his romantic voice, his hair style, I mean from his every action he was looking an emperor. The book name is right "The Last Emperor". He was really an emperor. The soil of Peshawar and Qissa Khwani Bazar must be proud of its son Yousuf Khan.
And I appreciate you chose the best words for admiration of Janab Dilip Kumar Sahib.

Dilip sahab's generosity and humanism will always be remembered. Late malik jahangir khan wazir the m n a from North waziristan confided to me in 1970 that while on visit to bombay ,he had perchance meeting with him and dilip sahib graciously hosted him to dinner without knowing him fully well and while checking out of the hotel , he came to know that dilip sahib had paid all his bills during his stay at the hotel and was present at the airport to see him off. I was deeply moved by his good will gesture. My wish to meet him in his life time remained unfulfilled. May God bless his soul and I express condolences with all his family members. Dilip will remain in memory of the people of India and pakistan not because of his acting prowess but for having multidimensional personality and .love for humanity.
I had seen your this vedio about one year ago. Now I seen it again. You said that I have not met and seen Yousuf saheb personally but you were curious about his health and hearing the news of his departure you felt as though you last your close relative. Yes this is fact, when someone influenced us through his character, attitude good deeds, thinking and superb talents in every field, gets a high place in our heart.
Yousuf saheb was cultured gentleman and a true human being. All super actors praise him. After coming of internet yusuf saheb becomes more famous because he being known to world. A time will come when he will be called world number one actor. Because before internet he was not accessible to the large viewers.
