Just found this video...I live in Toronto and I'm thinking about getting the Mini...it would be my first drone...I was hoping to use it for weddings a(at the park, or for establishing shots outsde the banquet hall) and other fun videos-I know this is a "budget" drone but now with the latest firmware, the camera is much more useful. I don't need it to fly too far or too high...was the wifi connection an issue? I'm concerned about the air space restrictions in Canada...the fact that it is under 250g helps but we must still follow many rules...is it worth getting this drone given the many regulations? I know I can't fly it near an airport (so I can't fly it near the Harbourfront due to the Island airport)...I would hate to buy it only to be told I cannot fly it anywhere! Thanks for any insight...
Hi Erick, the mini is more powerful than most expect. Yes it is a fly camera rather than a "drone" but restrictions still apply. You do not have to register it but you do have to be aware of fly zones. Most zones will allow you to fly but will restrict your height. I have not ran into any issue where my drone will not fly..and I always fly legally. If this is helpful please use my link to get the best price direct from DJI. @@robbrandphotography Thanks Rob. I think that the Mini is a great first drone with camera for first timers! I will read more into the drone regulations as I would like to fly it legally... I wish this pandemic was over so that I could lineup a couple of wedding videos this Summer but i may have to wait a bit...I guess the flymore combo is worth it for the extra batteries alone? THanks!
@@TheFandangovideoguy Anytime Erick. I purchased the fly more combo for that reason alone..the extra batteries. Prop guards are not a bad idea if it's your first time flying either. All the best!
@@robbrandphotography Thanks Rob. The Mini is affordable-the fly more combo would give me ALL I need to get started. I won't worry about ND lenses yet.I wish DJI had a small sale of sorts...I will check Vistek. Thanks.
Shopping DJI direct has always been the best bang for my buck. All canadian retailers seem to charge more in my opinion for the product. If it helps I'll even give you the link. click.dji.com/ADxQ3yjcrpyx5dG_3fS6pA?pm=link

Thanks so much FlyNS. Give it a try, it's actually fun to capture video in the quiet night. Btw..my folks live in Glace Bay😁😁
How do u fly it at night I tryed and it say no GPS due to poor light conditions please help thanks
It is tricky, you just have to wait a bit longer for satelite reception but they will connect.
