As a straight man whos never done drag, Katya and Trixie speaking on tucking has made me gain a whole new respect. I already knew what tucking was, but Katya just painted a picture worthy of the walls of my therapists office.

Both Trixie and Katya, especially since beginning training for the 2022 tour cycle, have been on a great kick of if not body positivity, body neutrality. "This is my car, it gets me where I need it to go, and I'm proud of how it's held up despite everything. A completely serviceable and roadworthy car!" I really appreciate this trend.
Tbh I'm a huge fan of body neutrality! I think there can be a somewhat toxic element to the whole "my body is BEAUTIFUL!" thing because really that's not what matters most and I feel like it can somewhat miss the point - I'd prefer it if we did NOT have to focus on beauty and perfection, and instead appreciate that things can be good enough without being beautiful or perfect. It does its thing for me. It's a vessel for me to live out my life.

Tbh the entire neutrality thing (body neutrality, self neutrality, etc) has helped me more than any positive what-have-you that people have been selling me my entire life. like, im not some bombastic bombshell girlboss (i may feel like it some days, but i know for a fact that that's not how i am every single time). and i dont have to be. im just some guy. and that's pretty cool on its own.

Omg so fun fact: the original jaws ride was a free swimming animatronic instead of on a track, and they decided to put REAL SHARK TEETH on the animatronic, and someone actually DID fall into it WITH THE FAKE SHARK SWIMMING. They were fine, but it made them shut down the ride and completely change the shark and ride operations.
