You should buy a h@cked switch, just about 200 bucks for v1, you can play any game you want (of course can't play online, but i feel fine with that), it's a good choice for who don't have a lot of free time to play like me
As a die hard Splatoon fan, I would have to heavily disagree. I will say that Octo Expansion is the best single player mode that the franchise has to offer, but in literally every single other way Splatoon 3 is basically twice as good
I prefer multiplayer in 3. I think most people probably do. I personally enjoy Octo Expansion so much that it puts 2 ahead (2’s multiplayer was still great). But once that single player DLC comes out this list might be different
I bought BOTW but I still haven’t played it. For some reason I feel drawn to play other switch titles beforehand. The first and only Zelda game I’ve played is The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, which I only started like two days ago now that it’s on Nintendo Online. To be fair though I got my switch the 31st of December so I have a lotttt of gaming to catch up on 😅

Dragon Quest XI is so much better than Sword and Shield lol, however I respect how you actually had every spot be a separate game instead of just lumping all the franchises together. Not my list, but I respect it (except for Sword and Shield being so high, such a mediocre game).

It's actually so similar to Sword and Shield but just better in basically every possible way imaginable. Bigger world, faster battles, more in-depth strategy system, the graphics are FAR better, etc. They're so comparable is what makes it so hard for me to understand picking S&S over it.
Great Video! I just got a switch so I could play some multiplayer games with my Daughter. I'm a huge PC gamer and she isn't old enough to have her own PC. This video was a big help. I plan on playing most of the Mario games, all of the Zelda games, Pokemon Violet or Scarlett.
@@GregoryChew0921 I got the regular switch. Not the switch lite, and not the OLED, just the original switch. It’s pretty cool actually. I like it. My only complaint is that the triggers and joysticks on the joycons (controller that comes with it) don’t feel like they’re the best quality. They’re not bad, just not great. You can get better controllers though.
Pretty safe list. There's definitely a lot more games you could have instead, Ultra Age, Doom, Dragons Dogma, Civ 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Monster Hunter Rise & Stories, Baldo, Endling Extinction Is Forever, Marvel Ultimate Alliance & Sifu are just a few worth mentioning 👍

animal crossing is one of the game i thought i would get bored after 5 - 10 hours, but now so far i've been plying for almot 100 hour and still not bored
I will counterargue a bit - I loved it at first but when I found out 95% of the items are completely useless (and most don't even give any special effect) I lost a BIG part of motivation to play. In "The Sims" you can always rely on an item to at least give you fun animations - not here, 90% is useless and just "decoration".
I'm currently three beats down, done a fair amount of shrines and side quests. It's definitely a good game but my three gripes are 1) enemies are damage sponges and they practically one-hit KO for the first 20 hours, 2) no way to repair weapons so I break a sword in 5 hits lol and 3) all the beast "temples" feel exactly the same. I think the whole trigger the 5 terminals->boss fight formula felt hella recycled by the third go around. Which I'm sure the last beast will be the same to where I can do it with my eyes closed lol I enjoyed the N64 & Twilight games way more in this regard cause they were so unique and challenging. Every part of the game felt different and new, plus cool weapons/tools that you unlock as you progress. BOTW just gives you all the powers and access from the get go and that's it. Save the special ones from completing the beasts which are more like assists than actual tools. BUT, I haven't completed it yet so we'll see what happens.

Persona 5 & 4. I’ve played 4 on Switch and I was great. 5 seems to run well. Also haven’t played them yet, but I’ve heard good things about Monster Hunter Rise and Doom Eternal
5:48 skyward sword isn't a full remastered game, nintendo just upgraded it with an hd quality so it doesnt look bad on the switch, thoo yeah its a really great game, i totally agree with your list

"Arguably the best videogame Collection ever released", I mean, the games are pretty good but I don't think it's even top 20, other collections have more games with more effort put into them. Rare Replay and MGS Legacy Collection come to my mind.
It’s a shame that my depression (and lack of energy) doesn’t allow me to enjoy video games anymore. I’ve had a Switch since it came out and it just collects dust.
sadly only 2 games on this list i would purchase, I already have. Mario Kart and Mario Maker 2. I looked forward to the pokemon games but was greatly disappointed and wouldnt recommend if you like the classic feel.

So actually they are all Mario... and if you don't like Mario games, you probably don't need the Switch at all. I played only Zelda on it and some small games. Other than that, my device is covered with dust..
I’d say yes, play Xenoblade 1 first. It’s more simple to understand, and you will appreciate 2 more once you get there. It’s possible to start with either one, but I recommend playing in order

Depends on what you want - Arceus is a "side" game, but imo easily better and more refreshing than Scarlet/Violet which is the first open-world but with tons of technical issues.
Can’t go wrong either way. Scarlet/Violet might be the better value. It (probably) has more replay value and possibly a DLC update coming in the future
My problem is, the game industry concentrate on just Mario, or rpg games, but not on rayman, and donkey kong... I have tried Mario, but it is not completely my style, I play as there is nothing else...

My problem is, the game industry concentrate on just Mario, or rpg games, but not on rayman, and donkey kong... I have tried Mario, but it is not completely my style, I play as there is nothing else...

That Nintendo Quality, I really believe that Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga deserves being in the Top 25 Switch games for 2023, and even in the Top 10 along with Breath Of The Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Link's Awakening, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Dragon Quest XI, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, as well as the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy, & Genshin Impact also.
