I'm an actor/writer and still get residual checks for one particular big budget movie I did 35 years ago, and my scene GOT CUT OUT and I still get checks from it every quarter like clockwork. But Spacey has been in over 50 movies, many of them HUGE moneymakers, that have made 1000% more than the movie I'm talking about that I was in, and his movies get big rentals, streaming, and he was the star of most of them so his residuals are much larger and have got to be at least a $1,000,000 or more a year. More than enough for a normal human to live in comfort the rest of their lives. But that's just for acting, he's also a producer of many films and for him that means he owns a piece of the film, so he gets residuals for acting AND producing on the same movie. And this is for movies that the work was completed on years ago, and he doesn't have to do anything but cash the checks. So the idea that he could be "broke" is just ridiculous.
