I love watching people realize the brilliance that is SHINee. They are such an incredible and unique group. They have someone that everyone will enjoy and they don't follow trends and no one else sounds like them. 10 years and they have yet to disappoint me. :)

Shinee has always struck me as the most inventive kpop boygroup out there. They really went out there to experiment and made unpopular choices to develop musically. Their songs have a colour you can recognize anywhere and you can feel their energy. Although I am en ELF, I have always been strongly drawn to Shinee's music AND solo albums of Jonghyun and Teamin. They have that strange tightly knit harmonies that make them so unique and recognisable. Unlike some other Kpop band which would skip legit harmonies to have more individual lines, they manage to be awesome together and still be recognizable. Bless our little babies (Yes I'm an oldie...).

SM groups have interesting songs in general. Especially the b-sides for the albums. 👌 They are hella good. Anyway SM doesn't disband groups they just leave them be.
It´s not that SM disbands them by an order it's just that those two groups are currently facing many problems. Victoria won't perform with the group because of the Chinese regulations and with the passing of Jonghyun I'm not sure if the guys will stay together.

No fear about that, you can sense they really need each other to exist. Their bond is stronger than ever. It is not about the awards or the money anymore. Omg i am so happy that your musician friends did a review for this. Goes to show how good their songs are (and us fans are not just biased). I totally agree how good Onew’s voice is. I became a fan of SHINee early 2009 because of him. I was listening to Stand by Me and I got hooked because of his voice. There is this distinct timbre which is so good to listen to. And yeah, he is the only one who has that kind of voice in Kpop groups. That’s when I started listening to their songs and was introduced to the KPop scene. However, I love them all but Key became my ultimate bias eventually.

He’s been on yu huiyeols performing 2 of his own songs and on immortal songs as well (he’s performed live on other shows like king of masked singer and radio star too but I think he was best on yu huiyeol and immortal songs)
