Did you replug the wires on the PCB and then put tape over it or did you cut it out?
I disconnected it and then put tape on it, and depending on that you have to cut some tape for the battery and the daughterboard

@@pn-kb i have put it back together but now i have the foam right under the plastic. Do i have to "poke" through it with the switches?

@@pn-kb tried that, but he only switches the image on the screen, like clock -> gif -> clock
if the polyfill is unsafe the tapemod is even more unsafe
Tape mod is safe ^^
Don't just say stuff is save no it isn't except you know what tape to use ( oh and some components on the PCB shouldn't be taped due to head). Some glues on the tape also don't match well with all the materials used in keyboards. High quality electric tape is the best bet.

@@ClacKeyTech exactly you said it is save. That's the problem because in a lot of cases and without some extra info it isn't safe. You shouldn't just say something is safe if it isn't just because it is if everything goes right
