@@danilochavarria7348 actually the intake does not make the noise but the induction into the runners makes the most noise. The high revs from the blower rotating cause that whine and a good amount of the sound escapes through the filter/intake tube. You can still hear the blower even if it is completely closed off it would be just very quiet compared to having an outlet out of the intake.

And sound does come from the filter considering the intake pipe is directly connected to the supercharger, allowing sound to escape.
