That's some nice speakers, setup and a niiiice villa! Cheers mate! ps try some nice synthy 80s vibe form The Midnight like Los Angeles or Sunset, 2 great tracks! ;) Best!!
@@BangOlufsenHome amazing! Comet is also a nice track. Then we have FM84 - Never stop and Running in the night. I flew from Stockholm Europe to Los Angeles in 2017 just to see them so, for sure good stuff. Also a good one on the speakers would be Eric Prydz - We are Mirage🔥🔥🔥
I will try it is relatively simple you need to buy a special cable you can search eBay for Beolab 3 rca this is one example Once you get the cable it’s quite straightforward from there www.ebay.ca/itm/134666704655?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Jo-5--K-QoK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I do have the beolab 18 and a beovision. Is it possible to use the 8000 for example as surround back left and right speakers? If yes, how do I integrate them in the wireless setup?
@cyvox7433 these speakers are self amplified, so you just need a device like sonos connect or bluesound node, with these specialty cables www.ebay.ca/itm/134666704655?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Jo-5--K-QoK&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=SWYEfJKqRJu&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Yes you need a trigger cable, you can google it it has to be specificity made for Beolab 2. Basically it is a power link cable with an adapter that plugs into the wall
Ah I was actually talking about the BeoLab 9s which only have the proprietary B&O inputs. The first speakers in this videos are the 9s aren’t they? They don’t look like the 20s
Hi Yes correct Beolab 9's do need trigger cable, basically a Powerlink cable to RCA, basically the trigger cable activates the speakers to turn on and off when sound is transmitted. In the video my 9s are not connected to the sonos system it was my Beolab 3s. Having said that my Beolab 9s are connected via trigger cable to my TV, I use them for TV primarily
@@BangOlufsenHome is it possible to have them connected to your TV as well as having them connected to a Sonos Port via RCA to Powerlink? Is the sound good when using the Sonos Port as a preamp? Do they sound better when connected to a B&O preamp instead? Do they perform well as low volumes? I have considered getting this set up for ages but always been hesitant that it either won’t sound amazing or it wouldn’t be able to seamlessly fit into the rest of my Sonos system.
The Beolab 9s are active speakers meaning the have built in amps. The possibility of connecting both Sonos and tv to the Beolab 9s is possible but I didn’t try that. One option I know of is that the Sonos has input line and you connect your tv to the input of the sonos connect and the output of Sonos to the Beolab 9s. Having said that I am not sure if you may have a sync problem between the video and sound… the Beolab 9s are excellent speakers at any volume.
Thank you for your reply! You’ve helped me decide what I need!!!! Thanks :) love it :) my beolab 6000s are not a clean sound anymore, despite the base, and tweeter replacements! They are about 17 yrs old though lol so due an upgrade!!! Thanks again! Keep it up :)
Yes it’s only Sonos connect, and yes you will need powerlink cable to RCA for Beolab 2 and 3s the other speakers have rca input so you just need RCA to RCA
Great video! Exited to see more videos, you have an amazing B&O collection!
Thank you so much for watching, I have to figure out what content I can demo :)

For Beolab 8000 you would need to purchase transmitter and receiver
Hi can you tell me how to connect the BeoLab 9’s to the Sonos connect. Which model is the sonos connect. I want to stream lossless audio to them.

Hey, how did you connect the Sonos Connect with the Beolab 2? Do I need an Adapter for this setup?
Yes you need a trigger cable, you can google it it has to be specificity made for Beolab 2. Basically it is a power link cable with an adapter that plugs into the wall

How to you connect the Sonos connect to the Beolab 20s? Do they need a ‘trigger cable’? And what is a trigger cable
Beolab 20's have RCA input, so you do not need trigger cable you can use RCA cable directly from the Beolab 20 to the Sonos connect
Ah I was actually talking about the BeoLab 9s which only have the proprietary B&O inputs. The first speakers in this videos are the 9s aren’t they? They don’t look like the 20s

Hi. Is it beolab 8000 mk1, mk2 or mk3? Great video! I didn’t know the beolab 8000s had different mks!
These were mk3s thank you so much for liking

i think if you have beo tv or beosound theatre you dont need to use beolab transmitter
Yes that is correct my beovision 11 has built in wisa but my wisa speakers are setup in a different room for different purpose
Hi ,it’s only use Sonos connect or port to directly connect beo 8000&4000&2 ? And I need to buy Beo-specific cables? What’s kind the cables?
Yes it’s only Sonos connect, and yes you will need powerlink cable to RCA for Beolab 2 and 3s the other speakers have rca input so you just need RCA to RCA
