I live in southern state USA. Do you spray them to control fungus?
I gave up on them because Black fungus and Black balls after the rain. And I don't want to use pesticide in my garden.
I love your collection of roses.
David Austin roses are absolutely gorgeous beautiful and fragrant but they are not disease resistance in my area.

@@yenlam8408 I also have the problem of black fungus . I remove the damaged leaves and spray a natural plant product based on linseed oil. When it rains, however, I also have to give it often. Here too David Austin roses are more delicate than others ... and some are still too young ...

Roses are not rare but some were very difficult to find here .For example Mokarosa, Kokoloco, Stenless Steel ..those with the most particular colors. Other ,like David Austin Roses or the Pierre de Ronsard of Meilland are most popular here in northern Italy. After having chosen the plants I asked to send the most unobtainable through some Italian nurseries and I bought the others through some Italian sites...

I'm sorry .. yes, roses have a hard time growing well in periods when it is very hot or if there is too much rain .. but maybe there is a solution .. maybe a small ventilated greenhouse? or .. there are roses that grow very well in pots, perhaps kept in the right position and watered often can give results in your area too?
