I had butt length hair FOREVER I decided a few year’s ago to cut it right below my shoulders like a long bob & I love it. Definitely miss my long hair sometimes but I’ll never go back it’s easy to style and not just up in a bun 24/7. 💙the nails also !!!

I would also use a builder or extend gel to glue on the tips instead of glue and they stay put....I never use glue to put my tips on anymore, but you are right, using base coat to glue on the tips can sometimes cause them to pop off, I guess it's because a base coat is a thinner consistency than a builder or extend gel due to the fact that a builder gel is designed to be used to actually build a nail tip/ whole nail. So, it's pretty durable and is great for gluing on tips or full cover nails. I like to use the extend gel from Apres. And I absolutely love watching your videos, you're amazingly talented and I wish I was this great with polygel. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I know I’m super late watching this video but first off I wanna say these nails look sooo beautiful wow 💕💕 second, I had long hair like to the bottom of my butt. I recently cut it for my birthday a couple months ago. It’s now sitting at the top of my shoulders and I couldn’t be any happier! In the past I would regret it but I haven’t regret it this time not one bit. Im in love! If you haven’t done it yet, this is your sign to do it lol.
I cut 13 inches off of my hair and got a bob in 2020. I always keep my hair long for a couple of years and chop it off once the weight reduces the intensity of my waves. Hair grows so get that chop and get it styled in a way that's manageable and makes you happy. I got long curtain bangs :)
My hair was 3ft long and I just got it cut to mid-back length, and I also have fine thin hair. Cutting it will make it look alot healthier, fuller, and lighter! I say go for it! I know when your hair is very long and have invested so much time into it, then it feels like you're cutting off an arm or something, but it's totally worth it! Plus if your hair is color free, you can donate it to locks of love if you cut off 12 inches!

i was always scared to cut my hair short too because i had an experience just like you where it was just wayy too short, but when i finally cut my hair again i loved it! i actually ended up keeping it short for awhile. Now its long again, but i'm kind of sick of it lol

So I have cut my hair super short twice. In 2015 my hair was almost mid back and I had shaved my entire head . And now about a month ago, my hair was past my chest, and I cut it to my shoulders and I have never regretted it !

I had hair as long as yours and my hair is naturally wavy/ curly so once I cut it my hair it livened up! it’s much much much more easy to manage and it was so healthy!!

i had the exact same hair as you, passed my but, thin flat and pin straight. felt like a waste because i only ever had it in a bun too! i cut it a bit longer than my shoulders and haven’t regretted it for a moment and it’s been over a year now. you should definitely go for it ! my mum didn’t want me to cut mine either but i told her id donate it and she liked that idea.
also i bleached to so it would have some damage to give it volume (ik it’s so dumb) but it lowkey worked lol. i’ve dyed it back now but it still has more texture than it did before !!
