Old WC Handy would probably have been shocked to see and hear a band of women playing his big number so fluently and with real feeling. Your vocalist/trumpeter gave a rousing rendition and I'd like to hear more of what she did in this number, so will keep a watch for the what else comes up on RUclips. Thanks so much!!

It's so interesting the way they change tempos several times during the song without hesitation. All in all, very good musicians, ALL. I wish I had been there.

I took your tip and watched that gang, and sure it's all well choreographed and the music is good. But it's a "celluloid image" of how someone thinks things used to be,and to me is not as genuine as six women having fun playing old music in the modern world. Specially with Marla in her pyjamas.

Well I was a bit aggravated at the suggestion that these girls had something to learn.
