gidle truly always have fun with their songs!!!! I love the actual meaning behind the song, it's so good. I genuinely think its them making fun of the stereotypes of a "wife"
I think the song is challenging the need to be a traditional wife where a wife is more of a maid than a partner. They’re all dressed the same to symbolize the cookie-cutter type wives that old fashioned husbands want
Yes, wanting your wife to only cook soup and clean your room is childish and silly OR does it mean she wants to escape the husband so she can swim free like a mermaid? G-idle is so good at making catchy songs with important messages about women.
I didn't think it would stick but randomly I started singing and rapping parts... then dancing and now I'm performing it in the kitchen on the regular lol On a separate note, are you guys reacting to SF9 Bibora?
@TRCReactions That's perfectly fine! I don't want to rush you guys I just wanted to know! One day I'll be able to afford patreon too and you guys will be my first! You are my og reactor channel

I have to admit that some of the English lyrics are a bit cringe, but I can ignore that. Overall, I like the song and the concept of the MV. Basically, they were giving me their version of The Stepford Wives.
It’s wordplay. It got you thinking about the lyrics. That’s what they want to happen. Plus they wanted it to be fun and silly while conveying a deeper message.
I get it. It’s funny, catchy and unserious but personally is not my cup of tea, it’s somewhat empty and I’m not a fan of the lyrics (even though people are saying they’re meaningful). Thank you for the reaction!
Yes, that's the proper pronunciation in Chinese. But, she doesn't use _'Yoo-chee'_ in Korea, because it means _'childish/immature'_ in Korean. So, she uses the direct pronunciation of Chinese to Korean, which comes out as _'Oo-gi'._

But do you know what they're saying in the Korean parts? It's pretty racy, and turning the stereotypes around.
wdym, are you korean?@@sunsin1592
thought it was about how there is no perfect wife
G-Idle is 100% changing the attitudes of women and towards them in South Korea, hopefully for the better!
You guys said the same about Hyuna and we know how that turned around. They are also from Cube.
@@vixxexo6855 I support all women equally, Hyuna literally paved the way, gidle is setting the score, easily.

This!
True!U got it!
No the song is about Wap stuff. See the lyrics in Miyeon rap part.
@@vixxexo6855 if that's all you got from the song you need to pick up a book right now.
@@vixxexo6855you misunderstood the point.

Best idle funny and goofy song since Blow Your Mind and Im the Trend
They're definitely talking about blowing something.

🤌
Now i only like gidle song❤
Can you react to Door by tripleS Aria
The song reminds me of Jennifer Lopez's Ain't you Mama. If you compare these two songs, they have the same vibe, but I much prefer Jlo's.
Good for you

The english lyrics are innuendoes for something. lmao. It's actually quite brilliant if you get the whole context.

Yuqi's name is not pronounced "Ookie." It's Yoo-chee, meaning "Jade Rain" in Chinese.
It's both. Even Yuqi herself says Oo-kie. Yoo-chee is the CHINESE pronunciation. Oo-kie is the KOREAN pronunciation.
love when people are so confidently incorrect lol
