@@LUNITICWILL No young people listen to metal, and rock anymore (at least not most; some do and are considered weird for it). They don't listen to much country either, but much more than that stuff sadly. Alternative is much the same. It's all about pop music now, much like back in the pre-rock days. For instance, go to any teenager and ask them to name a modern metal band, and they'll probably say Metallica. They're not modern, but they're big, so that's probably what they'll know. If you ask if they've ever heard of a band like Skull Fist, Hazzerd, Avatar, anything like that, they'll have no clue what you're talking about. Hell, if you ask if they've heard of Dio, not only will they not know, they'll think you're talking about an anime character. Metal is yet again at the bottom of the pack genre wise, and really has been since the mid 2000's or so, and as much as people may hate to admit it, nu metal was the last time we had newer acts sniffing at mainstream success. I think the closest bet we have right now is punk, because a bunch of young influencers on stuff like TikTok are creating punk rock and pop-punk music now, and some of it is even doing well on the charts. Plus, they already have fanbases full of the younger generation from their stuff as social media influencers. A lot of them are even getting help from some of the old guard, mainly Travis Barker. So that stuff is our best bet at keeping music like that alive and out there. Also, there's some good country out there. Sure, most of the stuff on the radio is pop-country and bro country, but that's never been a problem before. Back in the 80's there was pop-country, and lots of people loved it. Stuff like this: ruclips.net/video/xCMB1gYLiIk/видео.html And even back in the 60's, like this: ruclips.net/video/WfiQ7aYfmoQ/видео.html So I don't see why people always talk about it like it's new. Also, some of it just good pop music. Not only that, there's some country trying to get back to less poppy stuff. That new Stapleton song is still country-rock, but much more subtle about it (and with Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers on it). And there's this great guy called Colter Wall who plays folk, Americana, Western and traditional country music, he just doesn't get airplay. So some of it's good.
@@camerondodge2070 you're wrong with country, or at least what passes as country nowadays. and what is popular in the states may not necessarily be popular elsewhere. if Metal was dead, why would there be a record label producing nothing but metal and release quite a bit of it on youtube themselves (Napalm Records), then you have bands like Sabaton finally surpassing the 1 million subscriber mark (something 90% of people on RUclips have yet to achieve) as I've stated before, Metal and rock are keeping music alive, and some pop music too (Blinding lights to name one song)

Meanwhile, I think Hazzerd, one of the bands I mentioned, has a little under a thousand, adn they actually are pretty new, started in 2015 or so. (And that's with not putting all the music on the channel. The topic channel that does have all their releases has less than 500.) Not only that, but how many monthy listeners do Sabaton have on Spotify? How many do Slipknot have, or Metallica, or other big name metal bands? Now compare those numbers to the numbers of, say, Luke Bryan, or Taylor Swift, or hell even to Panic! At The Disco, now a bonfide pop act. (I refuse to say band like everyone else as it's a solo thing now.) (Also, Brendon might be moving it in a more rock didrection again soon. Difficult? Teen Spirit is literally one chord..
It’s four chords, and I think he was talking about Paradise City
Its great when Zac Brown sings other groups songs better than them and makes them his own
He tuned down like a fifth for this. This is not hard to sing at all.

@@patrickperry8951 but they're supposed to be GOOD, guess you never learned THAT
Wow! This is AWFUL.
Hell, Carrie Underwood did a better version. This guy's singing like it's a Barry Manilow song. He held a long note, though. And the drummer is ahead.
I agree Carrie did it better! She's the shit tho!
Gotta say,,they can't do this song
Riding on the coattails of Guns and Roses pretty sad
Dont they have stuff of their own that sounds like crap? Noble effort but stay within your parameters and talent limits
This is horrible. Good try but...no.
If axel was dead he would b turning over in his grave and puking in his mouth
Daniel Lucas.... sorry, he is to fat and bloated now. He would be stuck in his coffin. He would need some Vaseline to be able to roll. At least Zack can still hit the notes Axel used to be able to.
