Southern Potteries (Blue Ridge dinnerware) is an interesting story. It was part of a diversified business endeavor created by a Railroad company in North Carolina. It went public in 1920 issuing $500,000 of stock. They eventually became the largest hand painted pottery company in the U.S. with showrooms from California to the East Coast. They closed in 1957. The hand decorators went to other companies like Puritan and Stetson. You can really see the similarities in the decorating styles. Airbrushing, not hand painted, then came into fashion to help struggling US pottery manufacturers compete with cheap imports (labor costs). Most survived until into the 1970s. Transfers and decals saved the American dinnerware industry. Our history of consumerism is just fascinating. Doesn’t take much to get me going. Sorry.

The two single drums was a set of bongo drums that should have been connected together. You also had the mirror upside down. It as meant to hang hats and scarves while in a front hallway.

Hiya Jeremy, totally loved the candelabra, so cute, more fabulous scores, totally enjoyed yet again! ☺️👍🌼👏👋
The umbrella you said attaches to the table is actually a sunshade for a baby's stroller and fastens to the side
So that mirror was upside down…the shelf would be on top and coat hooks on the bottom.

The mirror wasn't for a dresser. You just had it upside down 😉

I would have asked if they had more vases inside, people don't know what they are worth.
There was no one there so you were just going to leave a twenty. 😂
So I believe the mirror is part of a Hall tree not a dresser…

Better be careful with the copyright dings... Especially with Taylor! 🫣
