This place has an old world charm , I’m not a fan of dimly lit places but this restaurant looks beautiful. Lesley you need to chronicle your restaurant visits and publish them as a food guide, will be of lot of help to non Goans. Prawns bhuzne is a dish traditionally prepared by the pathare prabhu community who are original inhabitants of Bombay.
Love all your videos Lesley 💓 till date. This one lost it's touch, more chatting,no background music replaced with unnecessary arguments, could have trimmed it shorter.Sincere request please stick to what your doing cuz you good at it.Thanks anyway fr recommending Kokum curry ,never heard of this restaurant so close to my house had such great food.please don't take offense of the comment only a recommendation.
Thanks a lot Lesley...I must have passed by Hindu pharmacy numerous times but never realised there could be such an authentic GSB cuisine on the menu...I shall definitely visit this place the next time I am around..thanks a lot!!!
I was watching your videos because you use to show different kind of thalis and dishes also each of you use to eat heartily without any worries...but now I don't know know what you guys are doing you'll took the charm of your videos by changing the method of eating like chimnis calling 1 dish and everyone tasting like chimnis wat nonsense yaar...i seriously didn't like this video at all
i watch ur video but few vlogs been watching u guys r taking one dish n fighting over it , food vlog is not like this if u guys are ordering one plate n all jumping on one plate cant get good reviews…let every one have their own plate n review accordingly..
Sol kari means of the kokum skin (sal), which gives the pink colour. in Goa it is more commonly had without coconut milk. it's proper name is tival/futi kodi. some like to add coconut milk
@srinivasrao369 roast some dried prawns or dried bangda fish on tawa/ gridel with no oil or little oil. Then mix the roasted dried fish with coconut, red chilli powder, finely chopped onion. Add salt & tamarind pulp as per your taste. Mix all the ingredients well. This is kismur. In some Goan homes all ingredients are added to tawa & cooked with dried fish. Preparations vary from family to family. Kismur can be made with boiled raw banana or boiled potatoes instead of fish.
BECAUSE OF YOU WE VISITED THIS PLACE WORST EXPERIENCE VEG THALI SERVED US AFTER 30 MINUTES AND ROTI( CHAPATI) WAS VERY HARD SOMEONE SHOULD TEACH THEM HOW TO MAKE CHAPATI PATHETIC
