Named after John C Calhoun. I saw Star Wars movie at that theater in 1977. New Echota State Historic Site is right up the road. Hope you guys had a wonderful time. This is where I grew up. 👍
Born and raised here in Calhoun. The civil war history here is something. Example. The historical society house, was the girlfriend of Sherman. On his march to Atlanta he stayed there. The the theater you went to was owned by my uncle before sold to the the Gem. There is a comment that says after a while it get boring, they're right. The BBQ festival is great though.
