Buffy/Giles - Give me a sign | BtVS

I will never forgive to Joss Whedon what he did with Buffy and Giles in season 7. In my heart it was never happened. The idea of Giles betraying Buffy had already been explored in season 3 with „Helpless”. Besides, I do not believe that if Buffy had a choice between Giles and Spike she would choose Spike. I understand that the writers were trying in this way show that the student has surpassed the master, that Buffy become a leader now and times when Giles lead them passed. But that what happened was too cruel for me.
Buffy and Giles friendship will be last forever!

Oh, yes. Buffy and Giles are SO important to each other, and what happened to their bond in s6 and s7 was very sad and wrong. Having friendship feelings now.

great video buffy and Giles really have a special bond and the fact that they drifted away hurt me too and the show didn't feel the same but part of growing up is to not need to rely on your parents all the time and become your own person who can make the decisions on their own so at least it was character development :D
