ABSOLUTELY! I don't understand why some guitar players make all those facial expressions! It's like something is having their way with you besides the music!
I'll tell you something about that neck/body flex move you did on that P-90 Mustang; It will crack the body on the lower side of the neck pocket. Squiers come that way out of the box from squeezing the clearcoated neck into the painted body. The bodies are too thin and weak there. A bullet with a bare neck will last a little longer but if you flex your Mustang like that its gonna break!
ak2112 Play them in person. They honestly kinda suck. And they're overpriced. Trust me, I work at a music store. They're covered in dust. The only thing worse are those Evangelical Christian pedals from JHS.

I was thinking of buying the 90, since im getting a used one cheaper than a normal player mustang, and I thought I'd change the bridge pickup to a fender single coil to get that that indie/ alt rock tone, but someone told me 'there are not really drop in replacements for the P90 pickups to switch to a fender single coil'- not exactly sure what this meant but...I was originally going for a single coil in the neck and jb in the bridge sound for the mustang, soooo, my question; would it sound similar if I switched out the p90 in the neck to a fender single coil and kept the bridge constant? And about the pickgaurd, does anyone think there's any available that will suit this setting? I feel like there probably aren't. OR for someone who's getting their first electric guitar, would it just be better to get a mim hss strat? Thanks in advance, sorry if this is a silly question lol
The p90 isn’t gonna do the same job as the SD jb, but they p90 have a whole vibe on their own. I would look out for the Kurt Cobain signature Mustang. That is a spectacular guitar. Mustang single coil, and jb in bridge. Amazing build quality. But the Mustang 90 is also a great guitar. Totally different vibe. But yes. Look out for the cobain Mustang. That has the specs you want

I just picked up the regular single coil player today and it’s wonderful. Tried both the single coil and the p90, bother were excellent but I felt like the single coil had slightly more versatility. If you need heavier overdrive you’ll want the p90 though. To be clear, I will likely own both eventually, very pleasant guitars.
