Lots of people / grinders are using the Mazzer 83mm conical in HG-1, HG-2, Weber Key, and other similar grinders. Lots of mid range / lower end machines use 40mm conical, but I'm not sure if they're all similar in design and easily swappable though.
@@decentespresso I actually forgot why I left that comment I was responding to the part at 7:46. Lots of people use conical burrs, I wasn't even thinking about those automatic machines just lots of mid range or lower end (really cheap ones) or like Baratza grinders. But not sure how much of a market there is for people upgrading those (I don't think anyone wants to buy a cheap annoying to use grinder for 50 bucks and spend $200 on the burr upgrade). There's plenty of hand grinders which would be nice to have options to change up the burrs, but I don't think they share a similar design where you can make one 46mm burr and use / sell it for a bunch of them (might be the the case that a bunch of the 1zPresso grinders may work with the same burr set though) so SSP can sell the burrs to more people that way. I like the Mazzer 83mm burrs in the Key / HG2 but I'm sure some people might like a different option, I heard the Gorilla Gear (Gorilla Burrs?) guys have been coming out with a new burr for the Niche Zero if it's higher flavour clarity, and better for filter coffee I think that's a huge opportunity there! So many people have those grinders, and love the Niche Zero workflow.

You mean the fully automatic machines right? Possibly multiple reasons I guess. Such as low cost and using less electricity(smaller motor)
