Overall a great job Doug - it helped me a lot when I built my (standard) C5 convertible model :-)! I own a 2003, and unfortunately there are some deviations in my kit which can‘t be changed easily (e.g. only one fuel line to the injectors, manual transmission instead of automatic).
Some things are not correctly mounted or colored on your model (e.g. head covers, coolant container), but everything is explained very well- thanks a lot!!!
Mark, Thanks for the information. PS - if you haven't already, please subscribe so that we can reach more modelers! -Doug
Looks great Doug, Very cool build buddy, thanks for the review! 🏁🏁👍
Mike, Thanks old friend! -Doug
More and more Corvettes what I like, amazing build always.
Wes, It's hard not to love America's sports car! -Doug
-Doug
Nice job ! Doug
CP, Thanks dude! -Doug
Always love a Corvette model review and build. Those are some pretty wild and crazy colors but I guess they go good together. Nice job is always. Looking forward to more kits.
---Dave
Thanks Dave, it's a lot of contrast that somehow works! -Doug
Great looking model Doug! Love the color and decals!👍😎👍
Pop, Radar Blue is one of my favs! -Doug
You did a great job on the Yvette, but that style of model just doesn't remind me of a typical car. I am jumping back in feet first though, lol. I expect we'll see many more of this type of modeling process. Nice paint job too.
IW, Yes, the build process is very typical no matter what type auto you're building! -Doug
Ahh got it. I've never seen anything like that before.
JG, They are prevalent on foreign performance makes too! -Doug
That one is sure to stand out on any shelf.
CS, It really is a good looking car! -Doug
Nice kit review and build, thanks for sharing!...Bill
Our pleasure Bill! -Doug
Another great build and review Doug! What is the deal with that extremely long shaft between the engine and transmission? First time ever seeing a configuration like that!
JG, I think you're referring to the transmission drive tunnel! -Doug
In 1998 GM relocated the transmission from the usual location to the rear of the car (i.e., a transaxle) to provide a better weight distribution. What you see is the torque tube that connects the motor to the relocated transmission.
BBB, That'a a better way to describe that part, thanks! -Doug
@@RightOnReplicas Keep up the great work - love the videos!
Another great looking build Doug. Thanks for sharing guys.
Hey Chaz, thanks a lot! -Doug
Sorry Im late cool kit what's with the long moter peice thing -mhk2021
MHK, I think you're referring to the transmission drive tunnel! -Doug
So i suppose this is thee only modern vett kit i can rob a decently detailed version of the l.s. motor from.....all the other ones are terrible
AM, This is a nice representation but we haven't done enough newer 'Vette kits to tell. There's always the aftermarket though! -Doug
