My grandparents came to America from Flores in the 19th century… from Fajanzinha and Fajangrande… a whaling captain and a old maid who finally got married! I still had cousins living there in the 1980s . Now, all gone, only distant, younger generations gone to Sao Miguel or Mainland. Love to know if anyone has information regarding them… Antoine da Rosa Rogers, Ana Cardoso. My father was their youngest son, Louis Rogers, born 1903. Me, I live in Hawaii and am at end of life.
